This is for Suby&Sinem, Dotun and everyone else I know who's into fashion/portrait photography.  I thought you'd get a kick outta this shot, taken from an Amsterdam alley.

wow what a shot Ginnie....excellent capture!!!! This is my favourite of yours so far...what a contrast between the trash and the poster.
Petra
Ginnie Hart: Wow, Petra. I take that as a high compliment. It's funny how others view our pics, right?! You never know what will tickle their fancy! Thanks.
You clearly don't have a very high opinion of this fashion photograph. This made me smile.
Ginnie Hart: HA! It was totally incongruous, Martin. Just begged for a photo! smile Thanks.
lol...perfect studio with natural light and a white backdrop, it get no better. Very humorous shot, love it.
Ginnie Hart: Glad you like it, Dotun. Couldn't help but think of you. smile
LOL, Why is he "in" the dumps?

Love the irony grin
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, S/S. It was too good to miss. smile

Ha Ha.
Lord of the trash!
The message..."This outfit is rubbish".
Well spotted, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. It was a fun moment. smile
I can imagine your laugh out loud giggles while you were shooting this! Could be a new location for the reality show "Project Throwaway".
Ginnie Hart: HA! Love it, Mad. Thanks for your comment. smile
quel point de vue extra tu as trouvé! c'est si inattendu. j'adore
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely fun to find, O-P. Thanks.

What an obscure place to put..the trash smile
Ginnie Hart: I know, Etomi. It was fun to find it like this. smile Thanks.
Great shot, Ginnie - it almost looks like he's standing in the rubbish bin! You've even managed to get a bike in! Are you doing a series on rubbish now?
Ingrid
Ginnie Hart: HA! I never once connected this post to yesterday's, so you gave me quite a chuckle. Not at all planned. smile Thanks for your comment, Ingrid.
Beautiful framing...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Shakara!
Number 300 tomorrow, Ginnie. I'm so excited.
Ginnie Hart: When I saw your comment, Mary, I went back and deleted one that I put up as an alternate that really wasn't a post, if that makes sense, so now I'm back to 298. But yes, I just noticed that yesterday. Time sure does fly! smile Thanks for noticing.
Well spotted! It looks like a very trendly magazine advert. Love the framing. (:o)
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Roz. Thanks. smile
Ginnie, for me this is one of your best shots. The whole compositin is great, and it's got rubbish and broken stuff in it too! And bikes> Excellent photograph. More please!
Ginnie Hart: You and Petra have quite astounded me, Chris. It just "shows to go ya" how our pics affect others in ways that sometime amaze us. Thank you kindly for your comment. It means a lot!
Oh this is a brilliant juxtaposition. I hope that rather superior looking man gets to see it!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Maybe! smile Thanks, Chris.
As christopher's mentionned, brilliant and how funny again ! Really ! smile I like it a lot Ginnie !
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Flo. smile
Wow what a great shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Aussie.
This is a very funny shot Ginnie smile
Lots of irony in this one smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Magnus. smile Thanks.

Extra funny picture. This guy rode up on his bicycle, dropped it against the wall got into the convertible dumpster and then posed for you with his haughty look. And an amsterdammertje observing the whole thing happening in its alley.

Heel goed zeg.
Ginnie Hart: You've got Amsterdam down to a T, Louis! grin Thanks for your comment, as always.

What is up with that poster? This one was very well spotted, sister o' mine.
Ginnie Hart: To tell you the truth, Ruth, I never went to see why it was there, of all places. Doesn't make sense, does it! Here I was taking pics of some gable stones at the place where I was standing (the end of another street) and turned left and saw what you see here. Serendipity! smile Thanks, sister.
Wicked. Ironic
Ginnie Hart: I know. What can I say. smile Thanks, Busola.
some one doesnt like this chap, looks like he just got dumped in the dumpster. Perfect capture!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tinuke, for stopping by and commenting!
Oh I think that's a fabulous find Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Kim. Thank you! smile
Told you you would find more "trash" to shoot smile In this case everyone said what must be said. Nice composition. If you look you will see that the expression of the man on the poster says something like: " What a waist...oh what a waist, lucky i'm so good looking!" I like it!
Ginnie Hart: HA! The stories he could tell while watching the world go by! smile Thanks, Fausto!

Nice one Ginnie, love the framing and compo

Kind regards,
Lu mik'
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, as always, Lu Mik, for your comment.
Excellent Ginnie - yesterday's fashions are like yestersday's newspapers! Only fit for the skip (yet we tend to keep both in our house - you never know they might come in). The concept of you photo reminds me a but of Martin Kippenburger - he said the same thing about art. Did a load of paintings, photographed them, threw the paintings into a skip and then exhibited the skip full of "art" with photos of the paintings around the room. Mike

PS forgive me I got carried away there!!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love it when you get carried away, Mike. Any time and thanks. smile
great great capture, you can see how much you live with us here on shutter in your mind Ginnie, awesome!!
Ginnie Hart: We do get to know each other a bit, don't we, Patrick. I kinda like that! smile Thanks for stopping by and commenting again.
Excellent shot - Very artistic and funny eyes to notice that ! Bravo !!
Ginnie Hart: We photographers are getting used to keeping our eyes open, aren't we, Zeb. smile Thanks.
Excellent. Puts all that shallow fashion mumbo jumbo where it belongs as fas as I'm concerned. All the best, Dave
Ginnie Hart: HA! But we won't say a word to anyone else who cares about that! smile Thanks, Dave.
Very clever pic! Good oportunity
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Jose.
I just love this - so well spotted - I love this kind of pics
