His Lips Are Sealed

This is a series of pics from my birthday weekend in June from Bruges, Belgium.

Bruges means "bridges."
One of its most famous is the Nepomucenus Bridge, named after
Jean Nepomucene, a saint from Prague.  He was drowned in the Moldau River (Czech Republic) for refusing to reveal a secret that had been confessed to him.
He is seen by many Catholics as the martyr to the cause of clerical immunity.

[Today I'm in Atlanta.]

Ginnie Hart: It really got to me as well, Lu Mik, after hearing the story from our tour guide. This bridge was near our hotel, so we passed by it often.
This has a monumental feel to it - you can almost feel the weight of the stone. Good angle.
