Brugge, Bruges,

Take your pick on how you spell it, but this is by far one of our favorite cities in Europe to date:  Bruges, Belgium.  We were there 9 years ago and then again this past June for my birthday weekend, thanks to Donica.

This just happened to be the view from our hotel room around 7 p.m.!  And this starts a series of pics from that weekend.

[Today I'm in Atlanta.]

A lovely spot, and running water too. Going to miss the candid Amsterdam ones... Mike
Ginnie Hart: You'll get so many candids of Amsterdam over time, Mike, you'll be glad for the other series I do! Trust me--I'll keep coming back to the A'dam candids, since I'm there half the year. But thanks anyway! smile
What a pretty place - it almost looks like a postcard!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Annie. Thanks.

Hey Happy Birthday Ginnie - nice to visit your blog again smile This almost reminds me of Venice ...
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Shailja, I think they call this place a Venice of sorts. It does have that feel, as you'll see in pics to come. And yes, it was a great place to spend my birthday back in June. Thanks. smile

A beautiful view from your hotel, how fortunate you were. How I love European views.
Ginnie Hart: Isn't that the truth, Ruth. You are getting many of your own views in Ireland right now. I'm totally loving YOURS!
Great shot Ginnie. The contrast between the bright foregroung and darker sky is lovely.
Ginnie Hart: It tool my breath away, Chris. Thanks!
Lovely shot. I just loved Bruges and would love to return one day.
Ginnie Hart: That's exactly how we felt after our first trip, Aussie. It was well worth the return, which I saw with new eyes because of taking up the camera!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ray. It did quite take my breath away!
I'm not sure if I'd like my home sitting in the wates. I guess you'd get used to it.
Ginnie Hart: I think it would be easy to get used to, Mary! smile It was just spectacular.
Lovely view Ginnie, great image.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Bridge.
