Ade

Because too many of you are dying to know about our time together yesterday, here's Ade Adeyemi from cremechic26.

It was one of the nicest, most soulful 4-1/2 hours I have spent in a long time, hanging out around the Central Station area of Amsterdam.   What a total sweetheart.  Warm, loving, giving, joyful, enthusiastic, charming, assertive, courageous, trusting, inspiring and adorable.  And I'm just saying that 'cuz it's true.

Anything else you want to know (besides that we walked through the Red Light district)?  Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies!  :)

Have a great weekend!

How perfect that your portrait includes a camera. smile

Sounds like a fun visit.

Ginnie Hart: I loved her expression here, Jimbo. Theree others to choose from which you can see here:

Atención pregunta! La cámara que tiene en sus manos Ade, es la tuya? o la suya? La expresión de su cara no me deja adivinarlo... Ahhh y el Domingo, Petra !! wink

Attention asks! The camera that it has in his hands Ade, is yours? or hers? The expression of its face does not let guess it to me...
Ahhh and the Sunday, Petra! wink
Ginnie Hart: The camera in Ade's hands is hers, Jose. She was reviewing all the pics she had taken thus far. It was so fun to watch her.

And yes, on Sunday, Petra! I'm a lucky lady. smile
She sure looks like she is having a good time and you sound like you did too.
Ginnie Hart: We both genuinely had a great time, Martin. You can see some more pics here:

It takes a really nice person to spend 4 hours with someone Ginnie. I'm sure it was you that made Ade so happy - her expressions are a treat to watch. Its nice to know that people on SC are catching up and sharing their meets. Can't wait for you to come to Delhi now grin

You have a nice weekend and hope you have a great time with Petra on Sunday smile
Ginnie Hart: That's very kind of you to say, Martin, but we are both genuinely trusting and joyful people, so we easily played off of each other!

When I come to Delhi some day, we will be the same way, I know! smile

But before then, it'll be Petra! smile
A wonderful picture of Ade, Ginnie. I think all SC'ers should plan to meet up one day for one big photo shoot! Wouldn't that be spectacular? grin In any case, I look forward to meeting you, Ade and everyone else. And I'm so glad the two of you enjoyed your time together. smile
Ginnie Hart: We truly did, Kay! It would be the same with you, I know. And maybe that will happen some day, sooner than we think.

Here are some more pics of my time with Ade:

Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Roland. You, too.

Precious!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, PP! smile
.... have a great weekend
Ginnie Hart: You, too, Chantal. Thanks.

Hey! Don't you, also, live here in Holland? Are far are you from Amsterdam???
I'm so happy you guys had so much fun together but WHEN ARE WE GETTING TOGETHER !!!!! The comment I left for Ade was the only thing missing from her post was Donika. This is a lovely shot Ginnie and I really like the treatment you've given it.

J
Ginnie Hart: You are so sweet, Johnny. It'll happen for you and me and some of the others of you, like Ellie, one of these days! I can feel it in my bones. smile

Donica was working from the apartment yesterday while I was with Ade but I found out later that she probably could have joined us. Tomorrow we are meeting up with a blogger from my other blog and also with Petra on Sunday, when Donica will join us. How fun.

Here are some more pics of Ade:

Ade is so beautiful, and your beauty comes out here too, Ginnie, as others have said. It brings tears to my eyes to consider how photoblogging has brought folks together from around the world in such loving ways. I, for one, appreciate your support more than you know!
Ginnie Hart: I know you know, Ruth, how soulful these get-togethers are for me. I've shown more of Ade on my other blog, which you've probably seen by now.

You are so right about how this form of art has brought so many of us together from around the world. Don't you just know that Mom and Dad are smiling!
What a beautiful, candid capture. I just love blogger meetups!
Go Ginnie!

Nice to meet you Ade!
Ginnie Hart: And to you you and I almost made it! Next time, Josie. smile
That's great you could have met !! Nice to meet Ade ! Nice mono portrait Ginnie !
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, thank you, thank you, Florence!!!

Hi Ade smile lovely candid shot you captured Ginnie...now, the red light district you say, what happens there then? wink
Ginnie Hart: Uhhhhhh. Well...if you even think about taking a pic, they start banging on the window, yell B**** at you, and point knobby fingers. I told Ade--"What are they gonna do, come running after us in their bikinis??!!" HA! I'm so bad. grin (But NO, I didn't take but one pic and that was of a lady across the canal who still yelled B**** at me!)

Do YOU know what happens, Chris??? grin

Lovely to see Ade here on your blog Ginnie, it's a vibrantly happy picture of her. I can tell you had a wonderful time.

Shutterchance magic? Isn't it lovely how pictures are a common currency all over the world. smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, yes, indeed, Ellie. I like how you said that about pictures being a "common currency." Exactly.

Some day it'll be YOU! smile
What a very sweet encounter! I feel like I know her, too!
Ginnie Hart: Awww. Thanks, dear Rachel. That is so sweet.
Looks like she was about to eat the camera. Nice!
Ginnie Hart: HA! She sure was enjoying the pics she had taken! smile
Cool shot smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Zeb. smile
Ginnie, I like your animal shots and most of your travel stuff (although sometimes I would like to see more of what you are shooting, i.e. back up and show the whole thing).

This shot has a real "story-telling" aspect to it and I think that is hard to do, which makes this one of my fav's of your "people" shots. Looks like you are pushing your abilities to new levels here, keep up the good work.
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart to say this, Doug. Thank you. I don't do a lot of people shots but because of what I have seen from others on SC, I'm starting to venture into that arena a bit more!
