Hey Dude, Watch Where You're Going!

Back to the aquarium series!  I've shown a single lagoon jelly fish before but this time I wanted to get a clump of them together.  They're quite hysterical to watch because when they bump into each other, they're like rush-hour traffic.  Crazy drivers!  I could stand and watch these guys/gals forever!

Ellie, this one's for you.  :)

This is a continuation of the series of pics taken at our Georgia Aquarium here in Atlanta on March 19.

Wonderful colors like the rest of the aquarium shots!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. This is one of my favorite showcases because of the colors!
This one really caught my eye - very nice shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Darren, for stopping by and commenting. You're my backyard neighbor! smile
Great, great shot Ginnie. The blue is so pure, a very sharp picture, as if it were taken in a deep blue and icy or tropical sea... Very well done. You could be proud of you !!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Florence. Thank you.
My favorite photo today. I love these jellyfish photos that appear on shutterchance every once in a while. I need to get me to an aquarium.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Aquariums really are so much fun and educational, Mary. I'm so glad we have this one in Atlanta now. It's been a BIG hit.
Bravo !! Very well done and funny title smile
Have a nice week Ginnie !!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Zeb! smile

Yay! Jellyfish! grin

You knew I'd like this, so I'm not going to say much else, except ask a little question ...

What happens when two jellyfish get their tentacles tangled?
Ginnie Hart: I knew you'd like this, Ellie. smile

I haven't a clue about if they get their tentacles tangled at all, though you'd think so if you stood and and watched them for long. Maybe they're too slippery to get tangled??

Good Sunday to you Gramma Ginn. Very well photographed, as indeed, all of your aquarium shots have been. Some very nice educational photography indeed. Kindest regards and warmest wishes, Neil.-x-
Ginnie Hart: You're so very kind, Neil. Thanks!
I love these colors! smile
Ginnie Hart: So do I, Jen. Thanks. I could stand there for hours, I think, and just watch these guys.
There's a real sense of one going the wrong way up a one way street! These jelly fish shots of yours are really quite amazing.
Ginnie Hart: It's funny you say that, PP, because my first title for this was "Hey! This is a one-way street, Dude!" grin
I love the motion of this photo, Ginnie. It's so easy to visualize them swimming like chaotic drivers. Very well done.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Kay.

Wow Ginnie, this is amazing! Glad I'm not in there with them.

That translucent colour in background and jelly, the balance of the composition and the diagonal movement are all great. Something lower right? maybe...
Ginnie Hart: I had another pic, Ron, that I liked a bit better but when I asked Donica, she picked this one (she tends to be more intuitive and has a feel for things). Anyway, I'm glad you like it. smile

This pic made me think of biology class. The one guy storming back against the rush, shouting it is a false alarm!

Excellent study in blue.
Ginnie Hart: You are so funny, Louis. Every day I get a good laugh outta you. grin

lol @ Louis's comment tongue This does look like one of those pictures you see in a book. Good capture
Ginnie Hart: I'm still laughing at Louis myself, Mia. smile

Thanks for your kind comment, as always.
Awesome! Really awesome!!
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, DD. Thank you kindly.

Unbelievable details. It seems to be taken directly from a science book! smile

Another picture with WOW factor, I am impressed Ginnie, I really am...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Monika!
Love it! So vibrant. Jellies are so amazing.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they are, Red Pen. Thanks for backtracking. smile
