Albert Memorial Chapel
This Albert Memorial chapel
is the smaller of the two chapels at Windsor Castle (the big one is St. George's) and is the one you see as you leave the chapel area.
It was originally built in the 1240's as Henry III's chapel, but was later updated in the 15th century by Edward IV. "The present interior of the building is the product of a massively ambitious
remodelling undertaken by Queen Victoria between 1863-73, following the
death of Prince Albert."
If I recall correctly, the entranceway was roped off, so we were only allowed this peek.
This ends my series on the Windsor Castle in the UK, the largest inhabited castle in the world!
