These are amazing photos Ginnie! I love how well you've captured their playfulness.
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Mad. Thanks. smile

ok this is looking more interesting, are you saving the best for last?
Ginnie Hart: I hope I've saved the best for the last, Dotun, though this may be my favorite of the 4. I'll let you be the judge tomorrow. Thanks. smile
Great shot Ginnie. I would have loved to see the subjects in a corner of the frame (rule of 3rds) and make this frame horizontal. I'm not sure how much you have experimented with the S3IS, its a fabulous camera and I wonder how this shot would have come out with the mode where you select a particular color in the frame and everything else but that color comes in mono. Waiting for more experiments from you smile
Ginnie Hart: You are way ahead of me, Thomas, with my S3IS camera! I'm always happy if I can just point and shoot and get a decent shot. HA. But I AM dedicated this year to find out more, for sure.

In the meantime, I know what you mean about the rule of thirds, which I'm usually a stickler on. In this case, I wanted the horses center stage (like the circus) and tried to do the thirds more with the background fences, etc. But I do appreciate your suggestion, as always.

Awe... Ginnie! This one is the best!!! I like it so much!!!

It's like the symbol of Pisces!!
Ginnie Hart: Awww. You're so sweet, Manola. I wonder what you'll think of tomorrow's pic. It's the finale to the series. smile I do like your connection to Pisces!
Beautifully captured, Ginnie! I peeked on your shot from yesterday 'cause Louis told me you guys both had horses: I loved it, and this wonderful addition to the series is even more inspiring.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Samira. Because I'm not around horses that much, this was pure delight for me. Glad you're enjoying it.
This horse series is great. I bet you could make a fortune by making it into a calendar smile
Ginnie Hart: Oh, Martin. Flattery will get you everywhere. smile But I must say that IS a good idea. Hmmm. Wheels turning.
Very happy horses smile
I like this series
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Magnus. Very happy, indeed. Hard to hide it. smile

WOW! You've caught something here I've never seen. Just incredible. Great job! (Makes my Valentine's Day horse kiss look a little tame, eh?)
Ginnie Hart: Well, Ruth, it all was new to me, since I'm not around horses that much. I think the sun got them all giddy, or they're very young!

But PLEASE don't for one minute think that YOUR pic was "tame." It was so perfect for Valentine's Day. And, there are those tame kisses that are as important as the passionate ones, you know! smile

For those of you who want to see what Ruth's pic from February 14:
Well captured Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris. smile
One's better than the other. Can't wait to see #4. smile
Ginnie Hart: Hope you'll like it, Julia. smile
Hi Ginnie. This is a splendid picture. I do like it...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland!
Good timing - this pic is full ov movement. Horses must be fun to capture, all the muscles coming through, action, and shiny fur (?) in the sun....I must try that one time
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Aksel. You'll have to get out amongst the horses! Feel it. smile

Excellent capture. Horses are by nature playful even more so if they are younger.
Ginnie Hart: If anyone knows this it would be you, Mr. Louis. Thanks!
Wow and I miss this one !!!!

A great kiss indeed !!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Zeb. Some kisses you just don't want to miss! smile

This is a fabulous series of pictures Ginnie. It never ceases to amaze me what horses/ponies will get up to when they're on their own, they do things we people don't think they would ever do without our intervention.

I actually like the way you've framed this particular picture. It makes the ponies appear as if they're in a spiral dance and moving upwards, there's tremendous sense of movement although the image is very sharp.
Ginnie Hart: What a lovely comment, Ellie! You always make me feel so good about my "simple" pics (most of which just "happen," if you know what I mean!). I felt so lucky to see this pair, let alone capture some of the beauty they presented.
Another great scene, this time honey-coated one is showing some gymnastic trics... I love these two pictures (#1 and #3) and enjoy the other two as well... Great job!
Ginnie Hart: You are a sweetheart, Monika, to comment here. Thanks for stopping by! So glad you enjoyed these pics.
