After flying through the night from Atlanta and a transfer from Paris late this morning (you can never fly straight to Hannover from Atlanta!), I'll be walking through Hannover's hauptbahnhof
(train station) from the airport around 3:30p this afternoon. (God willing and the creek don't rise!)
See the Ernst August statue almost dead center (from "under the tail" meet-up fame
)? Now you see the whole shootin-kaboodle behind it, constructed from 1876-79. According to Wiki
, 718 trains pass through this station daily .
Behind me is the City Center and where I pick up the tram to our apartment. Welcome again to Hannover!
