A cute title to accompany this beautiful close-up with great clarity! I love its shiny wings.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. It tickled me to see it spread-eagle like that! smile
Hang on little buddy!!! What a beautiful, perfect shot of this little guy!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. I noticed that the pollen didn't blow off. smile

Looks like the poor thing is having a precarious Monday
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling he'd feel embarrassed to be seen spread-eagle like this, Chris.

a great close- up - yes, yesterday we had some strong wind, and I enjoyed it after the searing heat. Enjoy your day!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. We haven't gotten the wind yet here in our heat wave but we were supposed to get some rain last night (which we didn't get here in Gorinchem). Anything would help right now!

Those little barbs on its legs are perfect for hanging on for dear life when the wind blows. What great detail you have caught here.

This is an amazing closeup, Ginnie. Hanging on to dear life... it was pretty windy that day. Wonderful to see the pollen on the legs. Don't you just love those wings.
Ginnie Hart: You saw me trying so hard to get some closeups, Astrid. I'm glad this one turned out reasonably well. Thank you!
Perfectly titled, it really appears to be hanging on.
Ginnie Hart: That's what it looked like, Care! Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Driving two cars at once? I'd hold on, too, Louis! grin Thanks.
YOur title made me laugh. Beautiful close up. Friendship

She'll not find much pollen there!
Ginnie Hart: No, but she knew where to find it! smile

the wind didn't seem to bother him very much Ginnie... he has pollen all over himself....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: He did seem to know what he was doing, Peter!
Spectacular. I admit to being a trifle jealous.
Ginnie Hart: Oh my, Michael. Well, thank you, but it almost always goes both ways!
