On dirait des angelots.
Ginnie Hart: Little rascally angels, perhaps, Martine? smile

The rich color of the background make these great standouts! A perfect title for Memorial Day. Unfortunately, so many events cancelled for the day. :-(
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. This will be one Memorial Day we'll never forget!
Very nice, Ginnie!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth.
Well captured Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Frank.
These statues are very different from the one Astrid shows and you chose the color. I really like the softness of the colours and these small moving faces. Have a good week Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I had to go look at what Astrid put up today, thinking she had also put up the same statue but now I see what you mean, Marie. Merci. You, too, have a good week!

They look a bit weather-worn but they're sticking together Ginnie. Just like we band of Shutterchancers!
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, Chris, until the last minute I had called these The Four Stooges until I realized I could actually make a better connection to America's Memorial Day. So you can understand why I have a smile seeing you connect it back to SC. Thank you.

This is very appropriate for Memorial Day, Ginnie. A Ban of Brothers, you stick together no matter what!.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. I'm glad I finally came up with that thought to connect it to America's Memorial Day.
Trop beau !!!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.

Do you have any information on the statues, Ginnie? I like the connection you have made, nevertheless
Ginnie Hart: No, I don't, Lisl. It's one of my main regrets after visiting this place...not knowing the artists' names or titles of their pieces. Apparently the exhibitions are changed out rather consistently, though out in the gardens some pieces looked as though they had been there forever.

I never heard of this Beeldentuin before - you and Astrid are today (not only today) on the same page!
Ginnie Hart: We hadn't heard of it before either, Philine...not until we found out from our friend, Lianne Sterk, the painter, that she had an exhibition for sale there. We are so glad we found it. And yes, it's fun when Astrid and I are on the same page!
Mooi toepasselijk uitgebeeld deze Memorial Day
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein.
They look more than a bit mischievous Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: As I told, Chris, I had first called this The Four Stooges, Bill, until I remembered it was America's Memorial Day. So the "mischievous" part is appropriate. smile

I like all their happy faces Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad. So do I. The Four Stooges.
I like the warm atmosphere of the place, Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Martin! Thanks.

een fraaie foto voor deze Memorial Day

prettige dag gewenst
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Willy. It was a stretch but I hopefully made it fit. smile
The one on the far left, do you think he looks a bit like little Tom Hanks??!

The one on the far right, like Bach?!
Ginnie Hart: And the ones in the middle, LC??? Come on. Tell me what you think? smile
I love that the smiles are so evident . Lovely!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Care. I agree. Thanks.
They are very worn, presumably they must have stood in the open for many years.
Ginnie Hart: I would love to know more about these, Brian, now that they are indoors on display.

The nearest one is almost doing the Napoleon thing. As schoolboys we had all kinds of ideas why Napoleon had his hand inside his tunic.
Ginnie Hart: I can just imagine those discussions, Louis! grin

Those must be really old. Very nice! (The Four Freshmen?)
Ginnie Hart: They do appear to be old, Bonnie, which makes me want to know more about them. I have so many questions from that day, now that I'm going over all the images. We might just have to go back!
They are not socially distancing. Well, I guess they live together so they don't need to.
Ginnie Hart: HA! So glad you figured it out, Michael. smile

You have made a fine shot from it, Ginnie...well done.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
i am sure they are not dirty, but they look so. a fitting shot though, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Very worn and weathered, Ayush, as though they have recently been brought in from outside? Thank you.
Serait-ce des grands sages ?
Belle photo et chouette lumière.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Pascale. I like that. Or even the Four Graces. smile Merci.
