A nice colorful composition captured here! Looks like the back of my entertainment center from the 90's. smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA, Steven. It's probably how most of us feel when we try to connect things with wires!

Don't you want to know what that is all about. It looks like on of those old fashioned telephone companies making connection between callers and able to listen in on the conversation HA....
I really like this, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: That would be one convoluted conversation, Astrid. HA! I love the thought. THANK YOU, again, for stopping by while you're in America!
Joli mélange de couleurs. Pas facile de s'y retrouver dans tous ces fils.
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling it's a real workout for the students, Martine. smile

One of them will surely fit!
Ginnie Hart: I sure hope so, Ray! smile
Lots of audio / video cables from the looks of it! Love the colors!
Ginnie Hart: Right now all it seems good for IS the colors, Elizabeth. HA!
Lovely and original colors.
Ginnie Hart: The colors are the 4 colors we all grew up with, Marie, for sure. So basic and yet so comforting. HA!

Another of life's mysteries Ginnie. How does it all fit together?
Ginnie Hart: Exactly. I have a feeling the students are greatly challenged by this one.

Your pictures remind me of Astrid some days, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HA! We really ARE becoming more and more alike, then, Lisl! smile

Another Astrid-style photo! I love the different colours.
Ginnie Hart: So says, Lisl, Philine. smile That's fun. Bedankt.
Reminds me of the days of having to plug things into my PC....Not any more...One lead does the lot!
Ginnie Hart: Those were the days, Bill!!!
Hele mooie macro van al deze gekleurde draden.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. The things we see when we're out-n-about!

Where would be without colour coding Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Chad. Now which color wire was I supposed to cut????
Démêler tout cela ne doit pas être une mince affaire ;-)
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Even worse than unraveling yarn, Pascale?? smile
Which wires should I cut?
The red ones?

How odd! I came across an article about the Harvey's Resort Hotel bombing in Nevada back in the 80's. Interesting case!

Lesson from that particular case: if you can't cut the wires, denote the bomb instead!
Ginnie Hart: I did think of a bomb situation, LC, when I first saw this. HA!

dat ziet er wel heel ingewikkeld uit Ginnie

een knappe kleurrijke foto

greetings
Ginnie Hart: Some things are just bigger than life, Willy!
The colour is great! I would not like to tackle the untangling job.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Care. Neither would I!
Let's not wonder what they are all for, with all those colours they make a good picture.
Ginnie Hart: They did seem pleasing to the eye, Brian.

Takes me back to my engineering days when I was at BT/British Telecom.
Ginnie Hart: So, a method to all the madness, then, Alan?! smile
when i had my medical to work for the Bell Telephone Co. Ginnie... they spent a lot of time checking if i was colourblind... this picture represents the reason why....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure being colorblind renders this image meaningless, Peter. HA! Good point.
When I take notice of my surroundings and see beauty in the ordinary, life is a wonder! You seem to have done the same here, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Martin. Sometimes we really CAN find things of wonder all around us, can't we!
This seems like a bit of a tangle...
Ginnie Hart: I'd say so, Cherry. smile
i think the colour coding is helpful for the technicians, but i imagine they need more colours, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: But can you imagine MORE colors, Ayush????? OMG.

ce n'est pas pour moi
JP
Ginnie Hart: A bit too chaotic for me, JP.
Il y a de quoi faire , surtout ne pas se tromper de couleur surtout ...
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Claudine. And do NOT cut the wrong wire!!!
At first glance, I thought these are mono audio cables, but they look different...

With the last few photos of yours, I'm seriously wondering what you do for a living... Are you in a bomb diffusal squad? grin

Did you teach engineering?
Ginnie Hart: HAHA, Sudipto. Astrid's son went to this technical school when he was 12-16 years old (he's now 31),so when it had an open house a few weeks back for new students, Astrid and I decided to go visit it, just for fun. It made me want to be a student myself! smile
