i like the tall, slender forms of the trees, Ginnie. here we have a rather pleasant, cool and slightly damp days. waking up early and getting out of bed is that much harder!
Ginnie Hart: Of course, this was back in October, Ayush, but I don't want us to forget it IS still officially Autumn. smile
C'est magnifique, j'aime beaucoup.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.

Ginnie Hart: It was a great time to be in Maine, Steven!
Gosh it's so pretty! I love the bright light and colors!
Ginnie Hart: Because it's still officially Autumn, Elizabeth, I have to keep showing the beauty!

I like the way this leads you to the lake in the distance, and I want to walk it, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: You would absolutely love Maine, Lisl. All of it.

Is there a lake or the sea? - a lovely park!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Philine. There in the background is Penobscot Bay, which is an inlet of the Gulf of Maine and Atlantic Ocean. It is such a lovely place.

Ginnie Hart: YES YES and YES, Astrid. And just think, we get to go back every year, God willing and the creek don't rise!

It maybe there but not in England now; the leaves have mainly all gone and today's gales will taken away any remaining. This is a delightful view.
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, Alan, the tree outside our balcony window still has a few yellow leaves remaining but, yes, by now we're looking a lot more like winter. This image is, of course, from back in October, almost 2 months ago.
I always think of the Woody Allen sketch when I see the word Moose.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, my brother, Nelson, with whom we took this walk in Moose Point State Park, had a nickname "Moose" when he was young because of the shape of his prominent nose. smile
Joli parc et bien belle ambiance avec ces nuances de couleurs de l'automne.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It's a very happy place, Pascale, still in my mind's eye. smile
ok... welcome to the FALL of our discontent lol made glorious by your photo takin' skillz
Ginnie Hart: I refuse to give up the season till it's over, Elaine!!! smile Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Inderdaad, Marjolein. My favorite time of the year!

As a boy, when confronted with a scene like this, I would ran at speed to the water.
Ginnie Hart: Good boy, Louis, listening to your inner voice. smile

een prachtige zicht zo naar het water toe Ginnie

bad weather, but I wish you have a nice day
Ginnie Hart: It's a bit rainy here today, Willy, but still above freezing and not a bad walk from grocery shopping. It makes looking back at these images all the more lovely to me. Bedankt.
I love the light on this lovely scene. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Ruthie. Thanks.
What a lovely scene, I would really enjoy a stroll throught there.
Ginnie Hart: You would, indeed, Brian!
The white frame really sets off this scene in such a delightful way. Gorgeous colours!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Mary.
Now this is what we call global warming.

Quick decorate your Christmas tree now. Two weeks left...
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. Well, hang on a minute, LC. Our Christmas tree IS up and we're feeling quite festive...but it IS still autumn. So I'm milking it till it's dry. smile

such a beautiful state

this is superb
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sherri. If we can visit my sibs in Maine every year, on our way to Atlanta to see my kids, we'll have a good chance of seeing a LOT of the state. We're so excited.
Beautiful autumn shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Michael.

Ahhhh, by now could be snow covered. I like the way you got clumps of trees and leading lines in the same image....good job.
Ginnie Hart: By now, you're probably right, Bonnie, about the snow. Maine will get a ton of it this year, I'm sure. Thank you.
