Friday the 13th

Just for the halibut.

(Bucksport, Maine, as seen from the Penobscot Narrows Bridge)

Remember when we used to color pictures with crayons and then paint over them with black poster paint,

and then scratch a design on top after the paint dried?  YUP.  Memories.

terrific effort and with a most colourful effect, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
C'est original, on dirait un tableau.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. It IS a painting. smile

A great reminder of those memories! Beautiful result with this processing!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. Sometimes it's really good to remember back to those days as children!
Ha! Very good, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth!

I think they are both delightful, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Lisl. I decided you needed both to understand the one highlighted.

A work of art, Ginnie. This is so much fun to see the "before and after". That was amazing view we had on Bucksport.
Those autumn colours are so wonderful.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. And to think brother Nelson lives there!
The first is really original but I think I prefer the second photo. Colors are superb Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: You definitely need the second to understand the first, Marie, no doubt at all! Merci.

Ha!! The trickeries of computer graphics. The thing is that I could do the older "technology" but the newer technology sad The colour version is gorgeous.
Ginnie Hart: It just amazes me that there are manipulations that can do so many things I love, like watercolor painting, Alan. It's fun to try them, as you see here.

I love the autumnal colours on the second picture.
Ginnie Hart: You have to hunt for them in the first image, don't you, Philine! smile
Très bon souvenir pour moi ,j'aime toujours autant le faire !
Merci pour ce partage
Ginnie Hart: Glad to hear you know what I'm talking about, Claudine. smile Merci.

Ginnie Hart: I love that some are remembering doing these, Elaine. Fun memories. I'll make time to respond to your post later.....

This technique certainly makes the buildings stand out Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It does, indeed, Chad. It really intrigued me.
Wat een grappige bewerking, zoiets deden we vroeger op school met vele kleuren wasco en dan zwart erover ;-0
Fijn weekend samen
Ginnie Hart: Oh,so you remember it, too, Marjolein! I'm so glad. smile Bedankt.
Never did that. But you clearly have had a lot of fun here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It brought back lots of memories, Bill!

Friday the 13th....

ik had er niet eens aan gedacht Ginnie

een fraai tweeluik...

have a nice day
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes it just creeps up on you, Willy. smile Thanks.
I do remember doing that. both images are really charming and beautiful.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun to remember, Ruthie, isn't it. Thank you.
i like your crayon drawing Ginnie... you staid inside the lines... have a good weekend....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Easy t0 stay inside the lines on these, Peter. smile
Imagine a world without colour, G?
But it isn't that bad after all, is it?
Cos love is blind.
"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind..." Remember this quote?

Ha ha... I actually did Shakespeare's Macbeth at high school in Malaysia.

Don't know why my English teacher didn't pick me to do Romeo & Juliet since I was (still am) so romantic?! All right that's my Friday's BS for you. Tell me a better joke now.
Ginnie Hart: Romance will get you just about anywhere, LC, right??? Bu no, I can't imagine a world without color. "Everything that is made beautiful and fair and lovely is made for the eye of one who sees." --Rumi
Its a very pleasing effect Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Well, that is amazing.
Ginnie Hart: Let's just say it was fun, Michael! smile
I like this Ginnie, any judge at my club would hate it, but what do they know!!
Ginnie Hart: They's hate it, I'm sure, Brian, because it is a total manipulation. That's what was fun for me. Thanks.
I vaguely remember that technique......makes an interesting result Ginnie! As you say, for the halibut :-D
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes it's fun to remember what we did before all our internet technology, Martin! smile
That really does look like a scratch painting. Cool! Sweet scene in our eastern colours.
Ginnie Hart: I used to love doing those, Mary. smile And yes, this is totally up in your neck of the woods.
