i like the bright feel to this image and it is stunning how it is tightly crammed with all the artwork and decorative features.
Ginnie Hart: "Tightly crammed" is an apt way to describe this portal, Ayush. Thank you.

What a wonderful image of this impressive facade, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Quel beau travail, c'est impressionnant.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
You've brought out such gorgeous color and detail in your image, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. It's all right there to be "grabbed."
Its very ornate, to put it mildly Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: To put it mildly, indeed, Frank! smile

What an ornate facade with incredible detail!! The figurines really "pop" in the design. Nicely-framed as well.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. It's worth spending time to figure it all out!
Merveilleux! magnifique! wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Marie. Merci.

I so love this almost symmetric picture, Ginnie. It is amazing how much they tried to put in. Love the coloured detail in the middle and your title.
One of the Saints is missing...
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Astrid. I never once noticed the missing saint. You amaze me at how well you observe things! Seriously.

Your angle has managed to get so much included from this amazing portal, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Lisl. Every time I tried to close in on the mural, it didn't seem right to exclude everything else.
Lovely composition on this intricate architecture! 🙂
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sudipto.
Rho que c'est beau !
J'adore ....Merci
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. The more you look the more you see!

Now here's a sight to behold!
Ginnie Hart: It's quite a challenge to take it all in, Chris. In fact, it wasn't until Astrid noticed the missing saint that I even caught it myself!
Waaaauw….wat een pracht en praal, je blijft kijken.
Mooi gezegd !
Ginnie Hart: Inderdaad, Marjolein, en bedankt!

It's Monday, time to put on my Jesus saint crown of light and get to work! hehe...

I love this Duomo in Florence Ginnie. We studied it in art history, I climbed up to the dome, and attended the midnight Easter Vigil there.
Ginnie Hart: Ahhh. Lots of memories for you there, then, Chad. I love what you studied in art history.
This is very much WOW!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Bill. They don't make them like this any more, do they!
To the glory of God.......wow, that is special, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Martin. Thanks.
Quelle "dentelle", c'est splendide.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Very intricate, Pascale, indeed. Merci.

What a lot of detail - beautiful (and well maintained). yes and He has the whole world in his hands.
Ginnie Hart: Every time I look at this, Louis, I see something new. And when Astrid saw that one of the saints was missing (which is so obvious), I was shocked I had missed it!

We don't always see that "He has the whole world in his hands," but if we don't believe it, we're of all people most miserable. (sigh)

The detail is spectacular!
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Andy. Thanks.
Holy Cow! I cannot believe the detail in this work!!!!

Excellent photo to capture it all.
Ginnie Hart: And to think that's just ONE of the portals to this cathedral, Care! Thank you.
What a terrific picture of a wonderful thing to see, I've not seen close up pictures of the cathedral like this before.
Ginnie Hart: We were "short of eyes," Brian, as you can imagine! Thanks.
it's a beautiful painting surrounded by so many sculptures around it Ginnie... you captured such great details here....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. It's when "short of eyes" is a BINGO.
Magnificent! Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie.
