So much to like here, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ray.
i have a feeling that the apartment/room inside is small and cozy, Ginnie. well seen. i note that the pots are on either sides of the window and not directly below.
Ginnie Hart: The entire arrangement caught my eye, Ayush, especially since the adjacent wall came in at angle.

Splendid textures and patterns! The potted plants add a nice splash of color.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. The plants looked so bedraggled to me but I still saw some beauty in them!
C'est original d'avoir, mis les plantes de chaque côté de la fenêtre.
Ginnie Hart: I guess it helps when the shutters go up instead of out! smile Merci, Martine.

so pretty

love that brick work
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Sherri. Medieval work at its best, I'm sure!
Beautiful composition! Doesn't that just scream Italy? At least, it does for me!!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth, and oh YES!

Tis is so typically Italian with the shutters against the Italian sun!
Ginnie Hart: It's fun to see, Philine, isn't it!

I can only agree Ginnie that the picture could be nowhere else but Italy..
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris!
Sympathiques ces supports à  plantes ainsi fixés sur le mur.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Someone is probably tending to them right this very minute, Pascale!
All Italy is in this photo
Ginnie Hart: I suppose you're right, Marie!
Rho...j'adore !!!!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.

Lovely detail Ginnie, old stone, an arch, a window and some gutteridge.
Ginnie Hart: The gutteridge seemed to be the most up-to-date of everything in the image, Chad! smile
Now the question is...do they lean out of the window to attend to those plants or climb up a ladder outside?
Ginnie Hart: Your guess is as good as mine, Bill, but I'be never seen shutters like that!

I like this a lot, Ginnie. This town had lovely features on the walls and I like how the shutters open almost midway. Look at the brickwork, just amazing.
Ginnie Hart: THIS is what I love about old cities, Astrid! Unbelievable. Bedankt.
what a great picture! this is exactly 'Italian' for me... having not been there of course lol... ever
Ginnie Hart: More Italian you cannot get, Elaine. Well, sort of. But yes, very Italian, even if you haven't been there.
A nice photo Ginnie. one of those sum of the parts things smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like how that sounds for this image, Frank. Thanks.
I am sure this is posted partly for old Chad. A lovely scene.
Ginnie Hart: Don't you love when we see things that remind us of each other, Mary! smile
Roses are too English, G.
Did you mean espresso?

I wonder what can one smell in Atlanta? Coca-cola, perhaps?
Ginnie Hart: A smell for every place we know, LC, maybe?? smile
What a quaint view. Just charming.
Ginnie Hart: Old Europe at its best, Ruthie! Thanks.
Oh wat een heerlijk zwijmel plaatje, dit is het juiste voorbeeld van het echte Italiaanse onthaasten !!

@Had bij Astrid een lang verhaal gepost, hoe ik met omwegen toch bij jullie sites kom;-0
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Marjolein, isn't it. I put your question into Bing and am not sure what you're asking, but hopefully all is good?
So much to look at in this image, a real mixture of old and new looking at those shutters.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Brian!

Maybe there was a mid-week break-in? They also took the roses.

Nonetheless, it is a great picture. You wouldn't find a Dutchy living in a space like that. The would long have fixed everything up.
Ginnie Hart: HA! So true, Louis, about the Dutchy thing. There would even be orchids!!! smile
One of my favourite cities in Italy.
Ginnie Hart: I can understand why, Tom!
great eye Ginnie... i like this shot with the bent shutters and the arch beside it....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peer. This is what I love about OLD Europe!
