Ginnie Hart: I don't often see doves, Sherri, so these were a surprise! Thanks.

Such pristine plumage under the warm sunlight!!
Ginnie Hart: They did seem delighted to find the birdbath, Steven. It made me wonder if they frequented it often.
Aren't they beautiful! What a lovely image, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they are, Elizabeth. Thank you.

We went to a two hour confirmation mass yesterday on the island of Hvar. The music was excellent and the coolness of the cathedral very welcome.
Ginnie Hart: I can just imagine how lovely that must have been, Chad!

We were so lucky that we saw these doves were bathing here. When we passed this fountain maybe 10 minutes later, they were all gone...
This is such a special moment, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. I wonder if they hang around the monastery throughout their lifetime?
These white doves are a feast for the eyes. Thank you Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Mercie, Marie. I rarely ever see doves, so this really was a surprise!
Quel joli spectacle !
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.

Symbols of peace and tranquillity. We can all do with a helping of that Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris. Indeed so.
Très beau message de paix !
Je n'en ai pas vu souvent ..Merci à  toi
Ginnie Hart: You're welcome, Claudine...and merci.
Enjoy your Pentecost Ginnie. Doves are such lovely birds
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bill. I wonder why we don't see them more often?

Oh. how beautiful! I like the communal bathing; very refreshing the warm sunshine, I should think.
Ginnie Hart: I should think, too, Alan, and thank you.
Bedankt voor de goede wensen met deze mooie betoverende witte duifjes
Ginnie Hart: Graag gedaan, Marjolein. I wonder why we don't see doves more often?
wow!!!!! how did you get that shot??? it's amazing!!! such pretty birds! Happy Pentacost Monday!!
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't believe they were there, Elaine, especially when we came back half and hour later and they were gone. We could have missed them altogether. Thanks.
I love to watch birds bathe. They seem to have such fun. This is lovely with the clever use of selective colouring.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Mary. And believe it or not, I totally forgot about the selective coloring. Good eye. smile
They actually keep these fluffy white doves at the monastery?

I am sure they deliver messages more reliably than emails. Have you got my invitation yet, I used a raven to send you. wink
Ginnie Hart: That's a thought, LC...that these doves reside there at the monastery. I love the idea. But no, your raven has not yet arrived, sorry to say. sad
What a beautiful visual for Pentecost! The doves are so elegant looking. Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie. It's not often I get to see live doves in a setting like this!
What a delightful picture, I gather they didn't stay for long.
Ginnie Hart: We went inside to sere the museum, Brian, and when we came out, they were, indeed, gone. So glad we caught them when we did!
This is such a lovely image, Ginnie. Having the doves appear against the dark background makes them almost glow.
Ginnie Hart: You can imagine how delighted we were to see them, Beverly. We went inside and when we came back out, they were gone.
Lovely shot!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom.
Super shot Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Frank.
