Great use of light and reflections to create this psychedelic view of the statue!! Excellent capture!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven.
Joli portrait, j'aime beaucoup les reflets.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
The material rendering of this superb sculpture is perfect. Very nice "gold" portrait
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Marie. It has a golden, mercurial feel to it.

I like this point of view and this is quite an impressive statue. You did a great job with capturing it, for the light was extreme because of the sun on it, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. The back story behind this statue is really quite inspiring.

This is very nice. It's quite unusual to see brass statuary
Ginnie Hart: Especially brass with a mercurial glaze over it, Chris!
very cool, reminds me of terminator 2, the liquid metal dude... i like this a lot!
Ginnie Hart: Liquid metal...that's it! Exactly! Thanks, Elaine.

Oh, what an impressive, modern figure! I have to return to Antwerp to see this with my own eyes!
Ginnie Hart: It really is impressive, Philine...and, indeed, very modern. I think it's a fabulous addition to the cathedral.
J'aime l'attitude saisie par l'artiste.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It is truly wonderful, Pascale, and very modern. You'd love it.
Très belle expression pour cette sculpture , ta photo est magnifique ..
Oui je pars pour une prothèse du genou , totale ou partielle , je ne sais pas encore
Merci pour tes encouragements je suis confiante .
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. Knee surgeries nowadays are so successful. I wish you much success.

You don’t often see a sculpture wearing glasses Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Chad. This modern addition to the old cathedral has won much acclaim.
Wat heb je de sfeer en blik prachtig overgebracht.
Moeilijk met al dat glimmende.
En ik geniet van dit kijkmoment ;-0
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. It's a delightful surprise in this cathedral.

een prachtige foto Ginnie..

Fabre, een veelzijdig kunstenaar, kan zichzelf goed portretteren..

have a nice day
Ginnie Hart: You are familiar with Fabre, Willy, so you know. Bedankt.
The video is interesting. This is a splendid work Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I learned a lot from that video, Bill, and totally agree. Thanks.
It is unusual to see eye glasses in a sculpture. I am amazed.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Mary...but this is also a very modern sculpture!
I'm so glad I watched the video, it says so much about the magnificent sculpture and your picture really adds to it. There is also some beautiful painted works hanging in the background inside that cathedral as well, I would love to see it all for myself.
Ginnie Hart: Four of those paintings are from Rubens, Brian. You would love this cathedral, I'm sure.
What a compelling angle for this statue. Beautifully captured.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.
i love this glistening feel here, Ginnie! nice details in the brushed hair.
Ginnie Hart: Glistening is a good word for this, Ayush. Thanks and good to see you again. smile

Most unusual, I think. The video helps to understand a bit better. The everyday human also bears a cross, so to speak.

Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: So to speak, indeed, Louis. I like the modern feel inside this place of history.
Antwerp? I don't remember much about this cathedral.
But I can't forget their station!
And the square.
Ginnie Hart: We had visited Antwerp before, LC, but never entered the cathedral. This time it was pure magic for us, while my daughter was visiting from Atlanta.
A fine work.
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Tom.
