Very good stitching...
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Larry, it's a big stitchery (like a tapestry) on which there are embroidered 10 different boats like this!
That is very cool.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael.
J'aime la forme de ce bateau et de sa chaloupe.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Martine. There were 10 different ones like this on the tapestry-like piece.

Très original pour illustrer ce thème , j'aime beaucoup !!
Ginnie Hart: It's so fun to find boats everywhere we go, Cluadine...sometimes in the most unexpected places.
I rather like this. Seeing my grandmother do embroidery always fascinated me as a child
Ginnie Hart: Having done much needlework in my former life, Bill, I'm also totally fascinated!

It is very neatly made Ginnie.

Whatever floats your boat - even embroidery. I look and I wonder how they 'made' the sea, the sky and the clouds. It is very well done.

PS. you should ask Astrid to teach you, so that you can stitch your name on the bow.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I'll leave the stitching to Astrid, Louis, because that's HER thing. smile

Great stitchery of this boat under the dramatic sky!!
Ginnie Hart: Some very creative work here, Steven, yes. Thanks.
I really like the simplicity of this, but no doubt it took a lot of skill to do.
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Brian. I agree.
I am impressed how you captured the 3d feeling!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie. The stitching really makes it feel 3D, doesn't it!

That's incredible. My grandmother did needle work too so I know how detailed and intricate this process can be!
Ginnie Hart: For those of us who know, Robin, it's even more amazing. I agree. Thanks!
