A Mid-Week Break

It's never too late to reflect on just about anything, right?

(near the train station in Utrecht, NL)

Astrid did her take on this last week here.

Nice reflection,.

A little reflecting is ok...if it is not just a disguise for regretting or procrastinating.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray, and I totally agree!

Oh my! The clarity of the reflection is spectacular.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Andy, for stopping by and commenting!
That certainly is a striking construction.
Ginnie Hart: On a sunny day it sticks out like a magnificent piece of art, Michael.

a stunning architectural style and a fine photo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sherri.
Un bâtiment très moderne et de beaux reflets.
Ginnie Hart: It really is stunning, Martine, isn't it!

A great quote to accompany this beautiful composition that provides a full "reveal"!! It almost has that sense of the reflected buildings being contained within one.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. You have suddenly reminded me of "one for all and all for one." smile
What a spectacular building,Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Frank! It makes you realize that on a clear day you can see forever. smile
Such wonderful reflections! I do love when architects do that! I remember Astrid's... smile
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Elizabeth. Thank you.

The reflection - such a long, complete one, takes my breath away
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Lisl!

I so love the building, it is already there for a long time, however the two towers visible in the back are new. What a stunning picture this is, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. You know more about it than I do, of course, but it was really stunning that day with Ayush.

I am a fan of this sort of reflective-type building Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Chris!

I love the reflections especially. I'm envious of the lack of little on the walk- and cycleway.
Ginnie Hart: This is actually a pedestrian and bike bridge, Alan, that goes over the train tracks...and was around noon on a Saturday with Ayush. You're right about how "light" the traffic was. Hmmmm.

This looks like a steamship Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Come to think of it, Chad, I knew there was something about this I couldn't quite put my finger on. Bingo.
Toutes ces surfaces vitres offrent de superbes reflets.
Belle compo Ginnie.
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Pascale. Merci.
that's a beautiful building... for now at least smile very 'modern' and majestic looking!
Ginnie Hart: I believe this building may be older than it looks, Elaine, according to Astrid. It's been around for awhile. But it does look very modern...still! Thanks.
It is a cracking reflection Ginnie. I see that Rabobank got heavily fined for being involved in the LIBOR rate fixing scandal
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. I wonder if any major bank has escaped any scandal these days???? My own bank in America, Wells Fargo, is one of the biggies, but I still use it since from forever. I was, thankfully, not one of those "scandalized."
I could take a shine to this.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Thanks, Mary. smile
It is one of those buildings that surely must have been built especially for photographers smile
Ginnie Hart: I think you may be right, Brian. Lots of forward thinking, then!
Everything is so CLEAN! Beautiful reflections!
Ginnie Hart: And to think it's been there for 46 years, Robin! Astrid remembers first seeing this when she was 18.

I reflect on spending lots of money to manage money. I am not sure where this reflecting will end up. Great picture of this building.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I wish you much success, Louis. smile Thanks.
Impressive clear and colorful reflection! Friendship
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ruthie. It really is "outstanding in its field." smile
They should really rename this bank to RoboBank, so I can see my superhero RoboCop there. wink

The only reflection that I can't see from the building facade is you.
Ginnie Hart: And here I thought you meant robo as in robber, LC. Oh well. Can't live with them, can't live without them. (I can be very sneaky, you know.)

this is such a 'clean' shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: It must have been your influence on me that day, Ayush. smile
This I've already seen, in front of and in black and white, from the competitor smile
Ginnie Hart: That "competitor" is my lovely wife, Claudio, so I show great respect! HA! smile
this is beautiful architecture Ginnie... there is a lot of building going on in the reflections facing your camera... you planed to get those cranes into the picture....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. Leave it to you to notice the crane! smile
