what a great portrait of these two

absolutely love the processing
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Sherri. I was actually quite far away from them and am not sure they were aware I was taking this photo of them, believe it or not.

It looks more like Man Friday smile
Ginnie Hart: I guess you could say that, Cherry. smile (BTW, for several comments now your link is not working. Are you able to check on that?)

Great portrait capture of these gentlemen!! I love the Doge's hat and Rialto Bridge that sneak into the picture from below.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Steven, this is not anywhere near the Rialto Bridge but I like the thought, with the gondolas in the foreground. It was raining right then, so everyone was taking a break.

One of your recent best images, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It always surprises me when you say something like that, Ray!

This is a wonderful portrait of these two men, Ginnie. I love the processing and it is almost looks like that "everything comes in two"....2 men, 2 poles and 2 boats...
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love your sets of two, Astrid! Thanks for the thought.
Some happy people! Love this shot - I think they might like a copy!
Ginnie Hart: As I told Ray, it was raining right then and everyone was enjoying a bit of a break. I was far enough away that I'm not even sure they knew I was taking their picture.
A very nice photo, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Une photo qui représente à  mes yeux la bonne humeur.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale. It was raining right then, so everyone was taking a nice break. A cozy moment.

Oh yes, a very nice scene in Venice!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. The rainy day made for some delightful, cozy images, Philine. I was a happy camper.

Magnifiques portraits très souriants.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. Don't we all love to see people smiling!

Gondoliers at rest Ginnie?

Nice relaxed shot
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Chris, during a spot of rain. It was a cozy place to be "protected."

The chap on the left must be a gondolier Ginnie, I wonder what the one on the right does.
Ginnie Hart: Looks like a friend of the gondolier, Chad? At least that's my story. smile
De bons representants de nos pëcheurs ...
Merci
Ginnie Hart: One is a gondolier, Claudine but who knows about the other, right? smile Merci.

looks like they caught you!! i love this pic! they appear to be having a happy life smile
Ginnie Hart: Actually, I don't think they did, Elaine, because I was quite far away. They probably saw us but didn't know we were taking a pic of THEM?! There were so many beautiful gondolas resting around during a brief rain. smile
Nice work, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.
Die hebben er lol in...daar word je zelf toch ook vrolijk van !
Ginnie Hart: Inderdaad, Marjolein. smile
They're happy it is Friday. One fellow is surely ready.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Mary! smile
Hasn't that guy got an amazing smile on his fcae, a great shot of these two.
Ginnie Hart: Kinda makes us all want to smile, Brian! Thanks.

Oh, great. They are contemplating the weekend and will soon flip a coin to see who will fetch the beer.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, Louis. smile
Nice shot, I like these slightly antiquated images
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Claudio. Thanks.
One of your recent best Ginnie. This is a lovely informal portrait
Ginnie Hart: You and Ray are on the same page it seems, Bill. Thank you.
You know that guy on the left looks rather familiar?!

Oh yes, Anthony Hopkins!?
Or maybe Wally? ;p

That guy on the right...
His chin, smile and lower half of his face look kinda familiar too?!
Now I let you guess this one.
Ginnie Hart: Movie actors in the making. They'd like that, LC. smile
That is wonderful. I like the bleached out processing. It gives it a great look.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

i love your zoom on this, Ginnie. terrific shot! i love your capture of their expressions.
Ginnie Hart: They must have been in the middle of a good conversation, Ayush, because I'm quite sure they did NOT know I was taking a photo of them. If they saw me, I'm sure they thought I was taking pics of the gondolas seeking refuge from the light rain at that moment. I was lucky. smile Thanks.
somewhere in Venice on a rainy day Ginnie.... good treatment....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Peter. Rain or shine, there's always something to see!
> This makes the viewer want to smile too.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Jacquelyn. Now, if we all could remember how infectious smiles are!
Great image! The man on the left just has this fun look - like he'd be really fun to be around!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. It reminds me how infectious smiling is!!!
I like the timeless feel of congeniality
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Ruthie, and thanks for stopping by and commenting here.
