i like the objects on the table, Ginnie. i think it is not a drinking glass to the left, or is it?
Ginnie Hart: I have no idea if that's a drinking glass, Ayush, but I'm not sure what else it could be? I like how there's nothing really "tidy" about this setup.

Those books are very fat, Ginnie...not suitable for reading in bed...
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Ray. Not a bed in sight!

Monday seems a perfect time for exploring the books displayed on the table.
Ginnie Hart: Wouldn't we all love to know what they're about, Cherry!
That is so very nice. Great back light streaming in and i love the black and white.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Michael. Thanks.
Seems like a timeless image, Ginnie! Well done!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. I think we all can relate to it. HA!

This is as time stood still and they intended to organize tomorrow.....Isn't there a saying 'never do today what you can do tomorrow' wink
This is a very nice picture, Ginnie. I love the B&W.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. I'll have to repeat that saying to you the next time I see you running around the house!!! smile
Beautiful smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Joshi.

Looks like this place was the home of an educated person Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: You may be quite right, Chris!
Il y a du travail ...Belle capture !
Ginnie Hart: Maybe by Friday it'll be all cleaned up? smile Merci, Claudine.

Certainement beaucoup de souvenirs avec ces objets anciens.
Ginnie Hart: Sweet memories from days of yore, Martine.

Not your average computer desk, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well observed, Lisl. smile

Some interesting books there; look at the size of the one closest to the camera. That;s some effort with the binding. Difficult to read by candlelight.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly what I was thinking, Alan, about that binding. Obviously they figured it out eventually, since we rarely see such a size anymore.
Une ambiance d'un autre temps et que j'apprécie beaucoup de ressentir au travers cette photo.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale. Isn't it wonderful to be able to "see" back into what once was!

wow that's very picturesque, doesn't look like something you would find in this day and age... even a quill pen!! love this!
Ginnie Hart: Memories of yore, for sure, Elaine! smile Thanks.
All the makings for the scholar.
Ginnie Hart: I guess you should know, Tom!

You keep a very busy work space.

These objects make a great b&w picture. I have tried with scrolling and yes, if you would crop to just below the paintings on the wall, the picture will improve a little - like from great to excellent.
Ginnie Hart: I can see your point about scrolling and cropping, Louis. Guess I knew Astrid would complain about too much candle soot on the ceiling. HA! Guess I'll have to settle for "great." smile
He he... You mean to plan the weekend ahead again right? wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed so, LC.
It does need a bit of tidy up but there are some interesting items among that lot.
Ginnie Hart: Wouldn't we all love to have a good rummage there, Brian!

A great still life captured here with many interesting elements!! The lighting adds beautiful tones.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. I love reenactments like this.
You said it. I had a crazy week and have to sort everything out today.
Ginnie Hart: It happens to the best of us, Mary!
Your work table? I hope you would not be in great difficulty. Congratulations for the shot.
Ginnie Hart: HA! An organized mess! As long as I know where everything is, I'm just fine. smile Thanks.

It is Monday, indeed! How time flies....it's also march this week!

This image reminds me of something familiar from the past ...
Ginnie Hart: Can you believe that 1/6th of the year is almost entirely gone! Unbelievable. But yes, this reminds me of days of yore, for sure.
Nose to the grindstone once more, back to the never ending job list.
Ginnie Hart: And so it is, Martin, even for those of us who are retired...because we either remember or we still have a spouse who works! But not for long for Astrid, who retires at the end of May!
I like pictures like this. I like taking them and seeing others
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Bill. Thanks. Timeless reenactments.
What a beautiful relaxing picture
@ Late, because of grandchildren to stay.
Ginnie Hart: Awww. Thanks. A grandchild will be in our lives soon, towards the end of August. We can hardly wait. My American g'son graduates from high school in May! Time flies.
i just love this time capture Ginnie... it had to be in b&w... good for you....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. This whole week is from the same place, so there's more to come!
to my eye it already is organized...smile
Oh, what a setting...and one can only imagine the conversations that happened around that table!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Robin! My kind of "organized mess." smile
