A Mid-Week Break

"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,

“This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying,

“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."

--Luke 22:19-20 (NIV)

I think the museum lighting was on your side here, Ginnie - usually it seems to spoil pictures
Ginnie Hart: I think you are right, Lisl, of course. Thank you.

A fine piece for Holy Week Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
This is rather fine Ginnie and appropriate for this time of year for many people
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. Living in a Dutch Reformed country, with Roman Catholic countries nearby, the Jesus story is everywhere present at this time of the year, even midst the commercialism.
Bien vu et surprenant.
Une belle lumière également.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, dear Pascale.

lovely, the new covenant, what would we do without it?? i don't recognize this sort of processing, it is very dramatic!!
Ginnie Hart: Tricks of the trade, Elaine, right?! smile But yes, lest we forget....
So much for my English friends, I've unstalled a translation tab, just click on it and the English page is displayed.
Have a good day
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Pascale. THANK YOU. MERCI. You have no idea how much this helps me!!!!!
Very creative, ginnie. I love the swirling stars.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you very much, Mary.
This picture so readily goes with those poignant words that will be uttered world wide this year, and especially on Thursday evening and/or Friday.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Brian. Our upbringing is ever before us, isn't it!
it's a wonderful image for Holy Week Ginnie...
the Communion verses are very fitting....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
It was not me! I like the play of light in the image.
Ginnie Hart: No, it was not you, Claudio. And thank you.

'Cracking shot', plus very fine words
Ginnie Hart: Great play on words, Martin! smile Thanks.
Very artistic!

Still no move on my account problem - nothing at all from SC in response to last mails. I first reported the problem on the 20th. So, after tomorrow, pics will appear on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/tdwilson101
Ginnie Hart: That is so mystifying, Tom. I'm so sorry. Are you using john@shutterchance.com?

Excellent use of lighting that seems to make the objects appear to be illuminated from within!! An appropriate quote for this week.
Ginnie Hart: I like the idea of the lighting from within, Steven. Thanks for that thought.
What am I suppose to break if I want you to remember me, G? wink
Ginnie Hart: You don't need to break anything, LC, for me to remember you. smile
That is quite beautiful broken glass and very nicely shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Michael.

I like this repaired goblet, Ginnie, especially with the benefits of your PP touch.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Ray. Thanks.
So much mood here...the light and contents...exquisite!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. For some reason, I have always quite liked Humpty Dumpty being put back together again. smile
