Where did 2017 go....
Ginnie Hart: I know...where?
a nice presentation, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.
An engaging image...
Ginnie Hart: I was delighted to see it while inside the basilica, Larry. Thanks.
Did you go for a ride.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Michael. You can see it here if you scroll down:

Terrific shot, Ginnie - what a great idea and result!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. I was delighted to see it from inside the basilica.

I love this view through the window, Ginnie and we had a fun ride in that ferriswheel, we were high in the sky smile The year flew by......
Ginnie Hart: It was such a nice surprise to see the Ferris wheel from inside the basilica. And yes, it was a fun ride. 2017 is now almost completely off the calendar. I wonder what 2018 will bring???

This is natural for your Sunday photo manipulation on Facebook; you could post it as it is smile a fine view of the Freeis wheel.
Ginnie Hart: I guess it DOES look like a watercolor manipulation, Alan. Hmmm. Good idea and thanks.

Nicely taken & twiddled Ginnie, a fine combination of straight lines and curves
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. It was a nice surprise.

So you were able to have a return view to the Basilica from the wheel, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Lisl. I hadn't thought of that but, yes, both sides of the coin! smile

I like the way that the little glass lights create a small distortion of this image Ginnie. The overall effect is really pleasing.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. I guess the distortion is what makes "seeing through a glass darkly" is all about?!

remember after Neo takes the red pill in 'The Matrix'? and he starts looking around the mirror glass looks liquidy? that's what this reminds me of... religion has us in a matrix hahaha, the real world awaits for you to find out the truth smile or maybe it's the other way around, the real world is the matrix and 'the Gods' must be found smile
Ginnie Hart: "Seeing through a glass darkly" comes to mind, Elaine! smile
Big wheel keeps on turning...
Ginnie Hart: That's a good one, Bill!
Good seen...ga lekker verder in het Nederlands smile
Heel mooi gezien zo door de vierkante raampjes
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. It was a delightful surprise that day.
He he... can't wait to start the final countdown now!

First Monday of 2018. smile
Are we on the same page?
Ginnie Hart: We're definitely on the same page but I didn't call it the First Monday of 2018. My bad.

A sentimental observation of 2017. A nicely-framed view of the ferris wheel through the window! May the new year be filled with good health and happiness!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven, and the same to you and yours. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
What a great view with the wavy glass giving the ferris wheel it's unique look.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. It was such a nice surprise.
It's a bit like a stained glas window with a difference, the contents are for real.
Ginnie Hart: I like that thought, Brian. Thank you.
An interesting pov
Ginnie Hart: It was a fun surprise, Tom.
