There is a sort of magical quality about this picture Ginnie. It also looks as if there is a tree growing out from the middle of the road.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Chad, everything looks magical to me in the fog, so I'm glad you feel it, too. And where that tree is, the path does indeed end. The grassy fields then become play-fields at the edge of the Merwede river for the dogs and their masters.

Gorinchem has many photogenic spots and this is one of them. The fog will clear soon... there is lots of wind. Love the processing!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. The fog has been delightful the last couple of days, making Gorinchem a photographer's heaven.

Love the image Ginnie, the mist adds atmosphere
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. There's something magical about the fog here where we live!
Jolie atmosphère. J'aime le chemin pavé.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.

This particular misty Monday can start my week any day!
Ginnie Hart: How sweet of you, Lisl! smile
Je te le souhaite ...chez nous c'est crachin depuis trois jours ...pfff..
Ta photo reste très belle
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine. This is the time of the year when we often have fog in the morning, which I love. Once it burns off, everything seems "normal" again. smile
This is a lovely picture Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
i loooove fog, it's the ultimate photo op me thinks... altho i have been in fog so dense that i couldn't see the fingertips of my out stretched arm... and i was walking my dog, and almost ran smack into the crazy guy next door walking his dog!! this is a beautiful photo tho!!
Ginnie Hart: I love fog, too, Elaine! Definitely a photo op!!! But LOL about almost bumping into your neighbor. You need to put bells on your shoes (like the wee kids have). smile

You know I love fog and mist - wonderful are the cobblestones! I love the processing.
Ginnie Hart: Fog is magical here, Philine, as you know only too well. smile Thank you.
Superbe ambiance et un traitement que j'apprécie vraiment.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you very much, Pascale. Merci.
That's what would be called a Peasouper' over here!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed so, Brian. smile
the fog makes the picture Ginnie... cool old cobblestones....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: When fog is magical, Peter, it really does make the picture. Thanks.

Reminds me of the yellow brick road in the Wizard of Oz except quite gloomy smile
Ginnie Hart: I like that thought, Charles! smile

Oh madam, this is so bloody brilliant. You will take ages to improve on it. Likey, likey!
Ginnie Hart: Man alive, Louis. You sure know how to make my day!!! Thank you.
It is beginning to clear. It takes longer in autumn.
Ginnie Hart: I think you're right about the autumnh thing, Mary. And as the winter comes, we have increasingly more days beginning with fog. I actually love it.
I did not take the time (like I often do) to read the comments from others...but I can tell you this has to be one of my all time FAVORITE images that you've ever created. The mood, the composition...drawing in the eye...just fricking fabulous!!
Ginnie Hart: You couldn't possibly have said anything else to make my day better, Robin. I'm humbled...and grateful!
