Très jolie photo avec ce ciel menaçant.
Ginnie Hart: Skies like this are very Dutch, Martine, which is one of the reasons why I love living here.
The lighting is terrific... with the equinox just days away...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. The equinox is TODAY!

A real eye-grabber, Ginnie!

What's so good about the Autumnal Equinox...is it the date on which you bring out your fleecy underwear? smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, that, too, Ray. smile

LOVE the coloring in this one!! Yes, Autumn on the way!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. It's now officially here!

This is one of my favourite places in our beautiful City. I run over this bridge twice a week... every time it looks different because of the light. Autumn is on the way indeed... chestnuts are falling too...
Ginnie Hart: We are so lucky to live where we do, aren't we! Autumn is here for awhile and I love it!
Very rich colors, and a wonderful sky!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. Sometimes adding a bit of drama to the drama already there makes my day. smile

You are so lucky to live in such a nice place Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: We pinch ourselves every day, Chris!
Une photo artistique et de plus belle lumière sur ces fort contrastes.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I added drama to the drama, Pascale. smile Merci.

What a wonderfully twiddeled image! I remember this beautiful bridge with the flowers!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Philine. One day you will come back when you can see everything without the fog. smile

The curve in the sky almost echoes the curve on the bridge Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: How right you are, Chad...something I hadn't noticed.

beautiful picture!!! i loooove fall, but i don't love boats haha
Ginnie Hart: You'll be hard-pressed to love The Netherlands, Elaine, if you don't love boats...because they're everywhere! But thanks anyway.
You have given the Equinox a dark flavour Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It's a dawning, Bill, so will get much lighter in a minute...even though the days continue to get darker sooner. How's that for an answer??? smile
Your treatment has made this a very strong image Ginnie. Over here our weather forecasters now insist there is such a thing as the meteorological first day of Autumn on 1st.September and on that day they all kept on about it. How I hate all this PC stuff we get thrown at us. Rant over, have a good weekend you two.
Ginnie Hart: PC stuff, indeed. Where are the good ol' days???

A beautiful view with great light that you've captured!! Hard to believe that Autumn is here as Chicago is experiencing temperatures in the 90's. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. Our temps hover between 50-60 F, which I love! 90 is way too hot for me at any time of the year!
What great lighting, Ginnie! This is gorgeous.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary.

Excellent contrasts in this picture. You must have got up excreamly early, to go from picture to posting in one dawn.
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, Louis, this was late morning on a dramatic-sky day, so I did some twiddling to make it look like this. smile
Great shot and fine treatment, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
What amazing light.
Ginnie Hart: It was late morning when I took this, Michael, but I really tweaked if for drama. smile
Oh yeah, the nights are finally getting longer.
Curl up in bed, all snug and warm.
Now, this time don't forget your slippers. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Must be why I love this time of the year so much, LC! smile
My favorite too! GORGEOUS image!!
Ginnie Hart: Then we're on the same page, Robin. Thank you.
What magnificent light! J'adore!
Ginnie Hart: I did some twiddling, Marie, but the day was just splendid in every way. Merci.
