The rust adds much to this fountain, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Ray. Thanks.
I love the rust. Mother Nature's paintbrush at work.
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, Michael. I like that.

Yup! Rusty on Monday ...amazing shot...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. It's funny how Monday has it's own special "reputation!" smile
Nice shot, Ginnie, lovely textures here.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Frank.
You know I love this one! Wabi Sabi at its best! And I love those little twigs over on the left.
Ginnie Hart: You're the one who has taught me the Wabi Sabi descriptor for such images, Robin, so I knew you would love it as much as I did. Thank you.
A lovely old thing, Ginnie - and beautifully composed and presented for our enjoyment!
Ginnie Hart: What is it about old stuff like this, Elizabeth??? Surely it doesn't have anything to do with our age, does it??? smile Thank you.

It's looking a bit weather worn Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris!

I can just imagine you "homing" in on this, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Don't we love that about each other, Lisl...being able to picture it! smile

Who would think about rust in a fountain.. love all the colours here and the drops of water... I think my engine has started already... not at full speed though...
Wonderful picture.
Ginnie Hart: All that rust actually surprised me, Astrid, for a fountain. I don't think I've ever seen it like this elsewhere. I think your engine is full steam ahead by now, based on all that has already happened today, before 8 a.m.! HA!

I never saw such a rusty fountain, but still working and refreshing!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Philine. It still surprises me to see it!
Lovely bit of rust Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: And still working! Thanks, Bill.

Avec la rouille, on a l'impression qu'elle est recouverte d'or.
Ginnie Hart: You do have a point, Martine!

Ginnie Hart: I know...and with it still working! smile
Très très belle cette fontaine avec cette belle mousse rouille.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It still surprises me, Pascale! Merci.
What a lovely old fountain. You really made the most of your visit to Verona didn't you.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian, and, yes, we did! We have no need to go back because we were thorough enough and have so many other places we want to see.

Something very random about this fountain, with a dividing wall halfway through it and rust all over its concrete facets. It does make a very interesting picture.
Ginnie Hart: You've helped me identify what makes me still stare at it, Louis. Thank you.
Lots of iron in the water has caused a strange beauty.
Ginnie Hart: I suppose that's what it is, Mary!
it's going to take a lot of oil to start our engines today Ginnie.... good eye....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Peter! smile
Water with a considerable iron content, I assume smile
Ginnie Hart: I'm guessing you're right, Tom!
What rust? He he... it's packed with minerals!

Make sure you drink more, you need more calcium and magnesium to build strong bones.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I need all the minerals I can get, LC, indeed. So far so good. smile

What a lovely image, Ginnie. Did people throw pennies into the foundation for good luck?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Emily. Strangely, I never once looked in the fountain! Now I want to go back to chack it out. Hopefully I won't forget the next fountain I see.
