Very nice B&W, Ginnie! I love the detailed ripples in the water!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth.
Too hot to start anything Ginnie sad
Ginnie Hart: Guess the heat is everywhere right now, Bill. Thankfully we've been able to keep our apartment very cool, shutting the doors and windows at the right time!

Fine pic, Ginnie.

Starting her engines right now might be a futile exercise if you are intending to go somewhere.
Ginnie Hart: Might get to sleep a few more minutes then, Ray?
I love images like this. A detail ripped from the world. Very nice in black and white.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Michael.

Looks like the tide is on the turn Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It was in and then out while we were there, Chris. The nice thing to know is it'll keep repeating itself!

Great picture and love the B&W.
Ginnie Hart: I LOVE that you can wait till tomorrow, Astrid!!! Bedankt.

I could start my engine but like this boat, I would go nowhere. It's too hot in the UK now even to bother.
Ginnie Hart: Here, too, Alan. We've managed to keep our apartment cool, which makes staying inside the best option! We've already had more hot days this year than in all of 2016, and summer hasn't even started...not yet.
I consider this to be a very good photograph Ginnie, a superb study of boatage.
Ginnie Hart: How kind of you, Chad. I like the way you said that. smile

oh whaaaat, now it's boat MONDAY??? lolol well it's a way cool pic anyway, great perspective.
Ginnie Hart: When you have more than enough boats for Boat Friday, Elaine, you slough them off onto other days! smile Thanks.

Great shot. Starting the engine will not help a lot when the screw is out of the water...
Ginnie Hart: Hopefully everyone is paying attention like you, Louis! smile
This really appeals to me. It floats my boat.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, Mary. smile
Lovely black and white, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.
I really like this shot Ginnie. Isn't it amazing how folks in Hollandland and Englandland moan when it is very nice but when it is we all moan because it's too hot. I've barely been outside for a couple of days, warm yes, stonking hot, no!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. I have never done HOT well, so living in Dutchland the last 7+ years has been perfect for me. We don't need A/C because we can keep things cool with fans. However, we have already had more hot days this year than all of last year put together, and summer hasn't even started yet! It does make one wonder what is to come??!! sad
Nice textures Ginnie... Especially the ripples in the water... Looks surreal... Also, isn't the propeller and the rudder supposed to be under the water? smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks for stopping by again, Sudipto! And yes, I'm sure the tide needs to come in a bit more before this day gets started!!! smile
Make it blue, G!
Monday should always look blue. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'll try to remember that for next time, LC. smile
Really love the simplicity of this! And of course in B&W.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. I was quite drawn to the silhouette feel of the propeller.
just remember the anchor, Ginnie. fantastic b/w work here.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. The anchor and the tide!

With the weather we are having I think I will give my engines a bit of a rest smile

This is very effective in monochrome.
Ginnie Hart: I think all of Europe is having to "give it a rest" right now, Anne. (sigh) Stay cool.
