That looks like a good day to sit with a book and a mug of hot chocolate.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Michael!
What a great shot, Ginnie!! Such a perfect break. I have some fleecy PJ's that would match your slippers! Are those "Snoozies" by chance?
Ginnie Hart: Those actually are my hostess's slippers, Elizabeth, which she loaned to me...so I have no clue. But I like the thought of Snoozies. smile

These were the best seats in the house. No matter the weather it is such a place to relax.
This turned out wonderful. Love the selective colouring!!
Ginnie Hart: We spent many wonderful moments in those "best seats in the house." Indeed. And you know how much I LOVE watching the rain!

Well...this has turned out very interestingly, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: You have no idea how much I love the rain when I'm inside watching it, Ray! smile

Oh, I love this relaxing behaviour. My mother liked to say "Wir machen jetzt Sommerfrische".
Ginnie Hart: What a sweet memory from your mother, Philine. Yes. We're making summer fresh!

Hahahah!!! Sounds like a good reason to take some time out. I trust that you had cuppa to hand?
Ginnie Hart: I think we may have had a cider, Alan. Does that count???? grin
The garden looks nice.
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Bill. Pauline takes good care of it.

I absolutely love love this picture, being inside when it's raining out is one of my fave cozy feelings, and slippers make it even more cozy, and recliners to relax in... this is all so great smile and i want a pair of the star slippers lol
Ginnie Hart: We had the best, perfect spot in the house, Elaine, to watch the rain. I can still remember the feeling! smile And yes, those are our hostess' slippers. So fun.
Ah that looks very English Ginnie, all you would need is a newspaper spread over your laps.
Ginnie Hart: HA! No newspapers to be found, Chad, but do our iPads count??? smile
Ginnie, I was going to wish you a happy birthday but then I forgot. Please accept these beleated wishes.
Ginnie Hart: How very sweet of you, Chad. THANK YOU. In my humble opinion, birthday wishes are never late when they relate to me. smile
Cool Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. (Your link isn't good so I will try to go find it....)

Over here, it will be a typical pancake day. A cup of coffee, a cinnamon sugar pancake to munch and watching the rain doing it's thing outside.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, goodie gumdrops. My kind of day, Louis. smile
You've reminded me of the very wet those of us on holiday in Cornwall or Dorset had a few weeks back, this is the best way of looking at it.
Ginnie Hart: I don't mind being IN the rain for part of the time, Brian, but I sure do love being inside watching and listening to it.
We are on the same page today, Ginnie, looking out at the rain. I love it. Happy birthday too. It lasts all week.
Ginnie Hart: I love looking out at the rain, Mary! And thanks for the birthday wishes, which do, indeed, last all week. We're celebrating again tonight (Friday) with Astrid's family.

It's nice to be inside and to listen to the sound of the rain!
Ginnie Hart: I so agree, Anne!
It can be a great way to spend an afternoon, good excuse!
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, Frank!
Welcome to Britain!
Did you enjoy the weather? wink
Shall I put the kettle on?
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, LC. Please put the kettle on! smile
