a very nice shot, Ginnie. i like the angle with the portion of the tower seen behind.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. I still remember it as though it were yesterday.
Those hands say it all...
Ginnie Hart: That was exactly what I thought, Larry!

The pain in his face is well-felt and the hands beg for help. Great capture!
Ginnie Hart: The artist depicted the agony expertly, Steven, indeed.

...having just realised there is no toilet paper in the dispenser...

[sorry...blasphemy, or something...but what I first thought...]
Ginnie Hart: I expected someone to say something about "relieving himself," Ray, and guessed it would be you. smile
What a great statue - such emotion - and I love your composition!
Ginnie Hart: I don't think I've ever seen one quite like this before, Elizabeth! Thank you.

This is very impressive, I love the point of view. This is so good, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, dear Astrid. I remember thinking back then how one day I would want to use it for SC.
Très jolie statue bien expressive.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. It really caught my eye.

This looks a little anguished Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: A good word, Chris, for the year we've just been through.
The statue asks what will 2018 bring us ???
Ginnie Hart: I believe so, Marjolein. Don't we all wonder!

a very impressive statue! Maria Laach is one of our architectural and monastic highlights.
Ginnie Hart: I'll never forget it, Philine! Bedankt.
"Donald Trump...what were you thinking about?"
Ginnie Hart: Exactly!!!!

I can empathise with this. There are many times in my life especially when working when I would think "Why me, oh Lord?" Or, perhaps, "Give me strength" often when dealing with the idiots. smile
Ginnie Hart: I think many people can relate to this right now, Alan...Astrid in particular. She has only 5 more months to go before retirement!
looks like he is asking God the eternal question... 'WHY????' neat shot, sister friend!!
Ginnie Hart: Or HOW LONG, O Lord, HOW LONG! Thanks, Elaine.
Très belle prise de vue ..bravo pour la photo
Je voudrais un peu en retard te presenter mes meilleurs voeux pour cette nouvelle année, avec encore de très beaux partages
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine, and the same to you. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Don't you wonder what lies before us in this new year!
Ha ha... This pose looks like someone's having a constipation?!

The Germans are so funny smile
Ginnie Hart: Now LC! I'm sure there's a reverent bone in you somewhere???
What have I done to deserve this? A universal feeling is well illustrated here.
Ginnie Hart: I look at this, Mary, and don't see WHY ME but HOW LONG, O LORD, HOW LONG? That, too, I suppose, is a universal feeling.

Superbe.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Anne.
This really epitomises the lost sould appealing to his Maker.
Ginnie Hart: I so agree, Brian.
Interesting smile
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Joshi.
Very nice photo!
Happy new year Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Wonderful photograph.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Cherry.
so much scope, where do we start.
Ginnie Hart: I know!
Nice pov, Ginnie - but I don't like the statue!
Ginnie Hart: I think there's a time and place for it, Tom, and right now I'm sympathetic to it and what it stands for. (sigh)
That looks like me when I had to shovel snow for the fourth time in the same day.
Ginnie Hart: Uh-Oh. That's no fun, Michael. Hoe many more times, O Lord???
superbe statue!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Not to everyone's taste but I like it, JP. Merci and Happy New Year.
We'll need all we can get! Great capture!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Robin! Thank you.
