Lovely picture that lends a sense of place to the space.

What's with the tree?
Ginnie: I like the way you said that, Geoff...a sense of place to the space. I'm not sure about the tree...unless it's a symbol of life after death, following Easter? This was in early May.... Hmmm.

I love the light in this church and the peace and quiet. Strange that I never took a look at the tree, it might be prayer-notes hanging in it?
Great picture, love the angle and the treatment.
Ginnie: Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA. The idea of that being a prayer tree makes perfect sense to me. I never really spent much time at the part of the church like you did...and would go back just to do so!
I note that all the hymns chosen begin in the one hundreds.

Ginnie: Sometimes you have to be very quiet to hear the angels, LC. Other times they sing the Hallelujah Chorus at the top of their lungs! smile

They have a full hymn-list, Ginnie...better gargle with best quality Scottish sing[le]-malt before attending.
Ginnie: HA! 4 hymns in one service would be what I'd expect, Ray, from my growing-up years. So I'm sure I'd manage just fine. smile

Our English churches are very special and so different from those in Scotland. I like the old stone showing here.
Ginnie: I'd love to travel around like you do, Alan, to see them all!
I only go in a Greek church to light 4 candles for people who are no longer with us,dont ask me why because i cant answer that.
