Looks fantastic with the aged textured look.
Ginnie: Thanks, Aussie. Now that I know how to add it, I will try to find the perfect images for it!
Beautifully done.
The craftsmanship is super, and I think you have enhanced it considerably with your PP artisan's touch, Ginnie.
Ginnie: Your comments are always so encouraging, Ray. Thank you!
The texture really adds some extra aging!
Thanks for the comment on my recent food post. I love garlic too!
Ginnie: It's amazing what tricks of the trade there are, Heather...in both PPing and in recipes!
I smiled to see you using the Papyrus font for your name. It's one of my favorites.
I'm just scooting around your photos, full of admiration. What a joy it must have been to have such worthy subjects.
Ginnie: I feel so lucky, Linda, to have been to these places of beauty in different parts of the world. And yes, that Papyrus font fits me.
and again...I wouldn't have guessed
Ginnie: It's fun to fool some of the people, Sherri...some of the time.
This is a wonderful view. Beautifully shot.
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Michael.
Een geweldige foto, the Mini-Europe was a real Gulliver's Travel for us, the details they put in are amazing, craftsmanship from the top-shelve we say.
So is your picture, love the aging you did on it....I have great memories on that day.
Ginnie: From the top-shelf, indeed, Astrid! That's why I love this place. Nothing sloppy about it! I'd go back in a New York minute...but only if you go back with me, of course.
Where do u find all these places
Ginnie: All photographers would have a heyday there, Pravin. It's a paradise for anyone with a camera.
Una soberbia composicion, el tratamiento que has aplicado me encanta, hace resaltar esas tan buenas texturas.
Saludos.
Ginnie: You're a sweetheart, Alex. Gracias!
Haha, about your font style on the signature. I didn't really pay attention to that font until you used it. I now like it.
Hey, Ginnie, sorry I can't visit as much. Been doing a lot of fixing. Finally got the house.
Ginnie: That font I happened upon accidentally, Maria, and have grown to like it a lot. Thanks. And congratulations on getting the house. Now it's MY turn to sell ours!!
The texture works really well Ginnie
Ginnie: Thanks, Bill. I'm glad. I thought so, too.
Looks like the real thing Ginnie
Ginnie: And one day I'd love to see it! Thanks, Chris.
Looks real. Now I want to go visit Greece again.
Ginnie: Me, too; me, too! Maybe we could meet up there some day?
Your presentation really adds top this; it helps to disguise its small size. Nicely done.
Ginnie: Stuff like this is so fun for me, Alan. Thanks.
This is very well done, Ginnie.
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Chad.
perfect crop
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Chantal.
Just great Post Processing
Ginnie: It was fun, Mirco. Thanks.
Beautiful pp job Ginnie, texture layer is great
Ginnie: It was great fun to try out the texture on this image, Tony. I love it when it works.
"the Mini-Europe was a real Gulliver's Travel" -yes, Astrid is right! But for me, sorry, it were rather a sad journey while remembering the grandious, overwhelming architecture/ buildings in Athens, like a little, little human bean you might be standing standing in front of them, only amazing...!
Ginnie: I understand where you're coming from, Philine, but the miniatures still enthrall me. That they can be so realistic and be made to scale still mesmerizes me. I can close my mind's eyes and just imagine the real thing. It transports me.
Really marvel at the carftmanship that goes into building these models.
Excellent capture, ur texture layer adds a well dated look to the composition.
Ginnie: I so agree, Fotografa. The details are enthralling to me. Thanks.
I have to admit this is quite convincing Ginnie!
Ginnie: Maybe one day I'll see the real thing and will try to fool you, Mike.
Beautiful details. Well done Ginnie!
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Richard.
A good follow up with the detail Ginnie but personally I would have preferred it without the texture.
Ginnie: You can please some of the people some of the time, Brian, as you know! For me this was fun...to see what it would look like. The nice thing is that I still have the original without the texture.
now from this angle and perpective, you really can't tell this was taken from a miniature..
Ginnie: That's what I love about this place, Rian! Thanks.
did you add a texture layer to this? really works well, an excellent shot
Ginnie: Do bears poop in the woods?
oh yeah...that'll teach me to read next time
Ginnie: HA! Well, we can't ALWAYS read the "fine print!"
yes, Astrid is right: "craftsmanship from the top-shelve we say" --or "het neusje van de zalm" maar ik ben niet zeker of dit de juiste uitdrukking in het Nederlands is, "Meisterwerk vom Feinsten" we say- and Brussels is naturally the right place to remember the high European culture in architecture... and I know that you are so fascinated by this continent! (I'm feeling as European in first line, then as German, then as Dutch...)
Ginnie: You are a woman of the world, Philine, in one sense of the word!
Fabulous, amazing what the texture does. Great Ginnie, ditto amazing minitures, Cheers, HC
Ginnie: Thanks a million, HC. I love it any time I can add a texture.
Mini Europe, but you cannot see the scale here, which makes your photo dreamlike.
Ginnie: That's what's so fun about this place, Wim...to fool some of the people some of the time.
All I can say is Excellent! a fine photograph of a great miniature.
Ginnie: See what you got me into, Les! It's all your fault!!!
Ginnie great work, like the vintage look
Ginnie: It's fun to find images where I can add the texture, Klaus.
Another really neat shot.
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Kanyi. The Parthenon seemed to deserve two shots!
awesome textures on this shot. would love to visit athens sometime, but must have the monetary funds to do it lol. =D
Ginnie: Thanks, Liang. I'm guessing we're all in the same boat!
The texture definitely gives it an extra oomph !!
Ginnie: Thanks, Bandoras. That's what I thought!
I think the texture adds to this..otherwise it wou have looked rather flat. Nice one Ginnie.
Ginnie: I agree, Ron, and was quite pleased. Thanks.
Amazing textures Ginnie, the dof, whatever effect you added to it, gives it a old English movie feel, like Hercules or Moses.
Ginnie: HA! Or St. Paul in his time when he was there. Man. That was a long time ago!!!
Ginnie. I love the detail and texture of these miniture shots. And of course, I love the antique quality in the tones...truely a signature of your work.
Ginnie: You're a sweetheart, Travis. Thank you kindly.
Very cool Ginnie!
Ginnie: It was very fun to do, Evita.
fantastic capture, like textures here ...
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Mohammadreza. Every time I see you I hope you're doing okay?!
As I don't have a toga, Ginnie, will my bath towel do, I can pose for you then?
Ginnie: HAHA! Very funny, Alex. i can see it now.
Love the processing here Ginnie it ads to the overall aged feeling.
Ginnie: Thsnk you, Frida. It did seem to work some magic when I did it.
Wow the details on this are amazing!
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Andy.
It's really a pity not to see the goddess of love and beauty in that part of Parthenon ;-) That pretty 'make up' u did should be so good for her appearance !
Ginnie: Merci, Martial. I see you have a more than adequate imagination.
very nice shot Ginnie
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Navin! And yes, Michael Jackson really is dead.
Ginnie- Well done and glad to see it getting the attention it deserves!
Ginnie: You're very kind, Ken. Thank you.
These are incredible. Amazing detail in these little miniatures.
Ginnie: That's why I love them so much, Marcie.
