So cute, Ginnie. Nice monochrome.
Ginnie: This was one time I was so glad I looked up.
So cute. I love this. Did you go in?
Enjoy the weekend.
Ginnie: Sad to say, Maria, NO. We were on our way to somewhere and only had long enough to stop and snap the picture.
I've never seen those three little guys so big. My mother had some that were on felt when I was little and they sat on a table. Funny, I don't remember anything else in the room. You've really triggered a safe feeling memory. Nice one, Ginnie.
Ginnie: They were begging to be photographed, Sherri. I guess we've all got memories of these buggers from somewhere. So cute. Thanks.
I laughed out loud... great picture!
Ginnie: I did, too, Jewel.
universal language = alcohol? lol! that's how i interpreted this one..
Ginnie: HA! I should have thought of that myself, Rian. Only you!
closed mouth, closed eyes, close your ear // 3 a symbol to go to a pub // I love this color // Regard from Yogyakarta City, Indonesia //
Ginnie: That's exactly what I thought, Bram...perfect for over a PUB.
OMG, that is hilarious, yet they look so precious. You've been holding out on some of these good photos Ginnie!
Ginnie: Guilty as charged, Bob! I have a LOT of images from that trip that I still haven't shown. They'll come out over time, for sure.
What absolutely fun this is! I love it!
Ginnie: It charmed the socks off of me, BC.
It's an old Bank, been converted into a church for Pinball Wizards...well found, Ginnie.
Ginnie: And I bet you know exactly where it is, Ray! I have no clue where we found it but I'd sure recognize it if ever I'm back!
Not this is one interesting Pub, Ginnie. Would love to see what it looks like inside. Excellent details and sharpness, like the tones here too. Fascinating shot.
Ginnie: Now that I'm here, I wish we HAD gone inside, John. Oh well, maybe another day, another time.
Horen, zien en zwijgen......
Geweldige foto and a wisdom that rings as a big bell, we say in Dutch It always amaze me how you get these wonderful tones in your pictures I love the way you put in your signature... I read the comments, HA... sometimes it is better to NOT say a thing, just listen.......
Ginnie: Your Dutch sayings thrill me to no end, Astrid, as you know. Dat weet jij! Beetje bij beetje I will learn them all, thanks to you and your patience.
what an awesome find!
Ginnie: I thought so, too, Kanyi. Thanks.
It's the Stooges!
Ginnie: I can't believe I didn't think of that first, Chris. Now Bill wants to know which one is which??!!
lol very universal indeed
Ginnie: Thanks a million, Fotographa. This was so fun to see...and capture.
Nice one!
Ginnie: Bedankt, Wim!
LOL I see so are the proprietor ;o)
Perfect photograph of a good subject. Hope you have a nice weekend too ;o)
Ginnie: This was fun to spot, Mike. Thanks.
Wonderful capture love the tone
Ginnie: It was so fun to find this, Vintage. Thanks.
love it Ginnie. They didn't even need to put up a name sign - the three monkeys are so well known!
Ingrid
Ginnie: I hadn't thought about that, Ingrid, but you are clearly right. I wonder what they look like to the ones who end up drunk?
I always loved the three monkeys thing.
Ginnie: I did, too, Chad.
I had a wooden statue like that. This is much nicer than mine
Ginnie: I think we all have memories of this, Delia! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
A wonderful photo- close-up, a pub owned by "Ginnie Hart"? Yes, you are right, we all understand this international body language, and often we are wishing nothing else than 'not to speak, not to see, not to hear...'- a fine appetizer to/for a fine weekenend for yourself and all the others!
Ginnie: If I ever owned anything, Philine, it probably would not be a Pub. HA! But, I like your sense of humor.
great one Ginnie... same to you about the weekend
Ginnie: Bedankt, Chantal. This was fun to see and capture.
Quite cute Ginnie. A perfect symmetry here!
Have a good weekend too!
Ginnie: I love the smile on the middle guy who sees nothing. It IS cute. Thanks, Richard.
So which one is Chad, Tiff and me?
Ginnie: Very good question, Bill. I'll have to ask the Lady of the Polder. She will surely know??!!
'' ... and don't think no evil niver.''
;-) richard
Ginnie: I'm trying to figure this one out, Richard...but I'm guessing you mean don't think no evil never? And if so, YOU ARE SO RIGHT! So, if we had a 4th monkey, would his hands be on top of his head??
Everything that happens here stays here?? Have a nice weekend!
Ginnie: Exactly!
Great shot of the famous phrase. I remember my gran' having an brass ornament of this sat on the mantelpiece. Nice one Ginnie.
Ginnie: I think we all remember this from somewhere in our past, Ron. That's why it's so fun.
You see so many variations on this well known saying Ginnie, this is hilarious. Have a good weekend yourself.
Ginnie: I know, Brian. This is the first time I've seen it this big.
I love this! How cool is it??! I don't hang out in pubs but I am always intrigued by the variety of pubs that exist. The different signs, slogans and decor that they all seem to have. Great shot!
Ginnie: I don't hang out in pubs either, OSB, but this sure looked cool. All those signs everywhere would make a great collection.
wow! superbe
Ginnie: Merci, O-P!
I bet they look good at night with those lights on them. Well spotted Ginnie
Ginnie: I bet you're right, Janet.
What a perfect sign for a pub! After you get out of here don't tell anyone what you saw, heard and said in here!!!
Just like "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"!
Ginnie: Exactly, Ti. You got it.
Oh, man.. You made me laugh with this one - What a great banner!
LOL Have a wonderful weekend, thanks for the laughs
Ginnie: It fun to find the things that make us all laugh, Ilan.
I'm sending this as an e-card to a friend.
