They think you look interesting, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Every time we moved away, they started walking towards us, Ray, but stopped the second we, too, stopped. That was what was interesting. HA!
Elles ont l'air bien curieuses.
Ginnie Hart: And that always brings a smile, Martine. smile
These girls are ready to go!
Ginnie Hart: Every time we moved away, Elizabeth, they started to follow us, but the second we stopped, so did they. I had hoped they would come closer. smile

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Sudipto. I especially liked the 3 brown cows on the left. smile

Bonne journée

That was so funny, the moment we moved they moved too, too shy though to come real close. Great memory of the nice walk we took, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Astrid. So adorable! Bedankt.
nie country scene smile
Ginnie Hart: I've seen more country scenes like this in the last 9-10 years, Rob, than in the rest of my life put together. smile

Hahahah! They are such curious creatures unlike sheep; I've got some many photos of sheep' backsides as they beat a hasty retreat. Love your comment to Ray; I've had a similar experiences smile
Ginnie Hart: Actually, once here in the Netherlands the cows came running to us and never stopped until they were right up at the fence. We had to give them some TLC, of course, after that. smile

Ginnie Hart: We'll, there was also a fence, Chad. smile
Clever of you to get them lined up like that Ginnie grin
Ginnie Hart: They paid attention to my magic wand, Bill. grin

Ginnie Hart: They were in the pasture, JP, and stared at us as we went by. So cute.
this is a heart warming picture... i've always thought cows are so pretty, here they seem to think you are pretty too... smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! ELaine. They were so fun to watch as we walked by.
All lined up like a military formation.
Ginnie Hart: HA! We should have saluted as we walked by, Brian. smile

A cute capture of every single one of them eyeing you!! Some will always seem undisturbed by a person's presence and continue to graze. Here you got everyone's attention. smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA, Steven. I think we all fell in love. smile
I love how cows are so interested in people. Love this - could be taken here.
Ginnie Hart: It's so true, Mary. We have many lovely meetings with cows here in the Netherlands as well.
COws are such gentle creatures. One time, when I was a teen, my cousin (also a teen) had to gather the cows on a relatives farm and then milk them. They were easy enough to get into the barn, but milking was another story!
Ginnie Hart: I've never milked a cow, Ruthie. That would be another experience altogether!
When I was a small child, Ginnie, I was terrified of cows. If I had seen this herd coming toward me like that I would have run like the devil to get out of their way.
Ginnie Hart: I can totally understand that, Beverly. They're HUGE. But over the years I have discovered they are like teddy bears. HA! Give them a little attention and they eat it up.

Looks like they want to meet you! Hope there was a fence.
Ginnie Hart: They kept moving closer every time we moved on, Bonnie, but stopped when we came back. HA! And, yes, there was a fence. smile
they seem attracted to you Ginnie... did you have some cow treats with you?....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: We kept hoping they would come to us, Peter, but they stopped every time we stopped. No treats because we had no idea we'd see them.

those are some fine looking beef

gotta love how they're looking at you
Ginnie Hart: There's something about cows, Sherri! Their size is so intimidating but once you get to know them, most of them are just teddy bears at heart. HA!
A beautiful flock. I love cows
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Marie. So do I! smile
