i see you have a good eye for placement

the shadows work well here
Ginnie Hart: I wonder how much the "dresser" got paid for this, Sherri, now that you mention it. Hmmm. Thanks.

Help yourself, Ginnie! (By the way, I use the word "lowering" - Frank's pic)
Ginnie Hart: Well, thank you, Lisl! I'd love to hear you say 'lowering' one day while I'm with you. smile

Glen Talloch has a relaxed flavour profile of citrus, runny caramel and orchard fruit (think pears and apple), joined by a touch of grist and peat.

So say the experts
Ginnie Hart: I'll take your word for it, Chris! smile

I think I can sit down and enjoy the drinks very much, Ginnie grin...
Wonderful composition and I love the light.
Ginnie Hart: Wednesday is our night to do so, Astrid. Surprise me.... Thanks.

Did you finish that bottle Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: It does look empty, Chad, until you look closer. But not a drop from me. We were (sadly) all roped out.

Sounds like a god plan especially as the heat is coming back sad
Ginnie Hart: We had a brief respite, too, Alan, but the heat is now coming back for us as well. (sigh)
commenting early so i can conk out smile ooooh, this looks so rich and...... brown, so warm, it makes me wish i had some booze in the house... the brown, oh the brown tones, it makes me almost want to give up dressing in black smile this is lovely, sister
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elaine. How sweet of you. Now go conk out! (Brown is the redhead's black, of course.)
I have not come across Glen Talloch , but judging by the emptiness of the bottle it is well liked by someone
Ginnie Hart: I'm not familiar with it either, Bill, but every time I look at the bottle, I can't tell if it's empty or not???

There are pictures and there are photographs. This is what I call a photograph. The lighting is impressive.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Andy. Thank you.

Another beautiful still life with great tones and contrasts!! I love the detail captured in the Japanese vase in the background.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. It's fun to see how the decorators set up these reenactments, isn't it!
Glen Talloch is a new one on me, I herby volunteer to give it a try but I might need more than one glass to make my mind up as to its quality smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHA. I'm really loving this response to Glen Talloch by many of you, Brian. smile

Stop sighing about your free trip to our semi-desert climes. Just sit back in a suitable cool place and take a few shots of cognac (I see you are trying to hide the bottle there, but those snifters are a give-away). Once you get a little tipsy, exit slowly into the pleasantly warm day. If you do that too fast, you would get bloody drunk and tomorrow you will hear the canons and bells from the 1812 overture, but not nicely orchestrated.

By the way, Glen Talloch is really empty and if you can't see it - well, then you are proving a lack of sobriety ...

After all that alcoholic folklore, I just want to add that this is a great picture. It is probably only after the third look at the pic that I noticed some blue among all the brown.
Ginnie Hart: After reading this comment, Louis, I am rolling on the floor laughing (ROFL). HAHAHA. Thanks.
Jolie ambiance.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
all good looking stuff Ginnie... have one for me....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Too bad we were roped off from the goodies, Peter!
The contents of that bottle would make me so calm as to be comatose... smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I suppose we could all have a sip, if we asked politely enough? smile
I could use a sip of something refreshing right now.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Something very cold, Michael!!!

Whiskey has that effect ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed so, Cherry.
I love the warm tones in this, Ginnie!
Chris seems to know this liquor a bit too well! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. And yes, about Chris. HA!
