We are always civil. ( Unlike our leader! )
Ginnie Hart: Oh my, Frank. So true! (sigh)

Ils ont un regard tendre l'un pour l'autre.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they do, Martine, but something comes between them to keep them civil?
I'll do my best! I love this image!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth, but I honestly can't imagine you being anything BUT civil!

I love the way you processed this, Ginnie. Sometimes people feed my 3 scorpions and then it is hard to stay civil wink...I always try though...
Ginnie Hart: I know you always try, Astrid, which is one of the myriad reasons why I love you! grin Bedankt.

I wonder at the story behind this Ginnie, there are any number of interpretations
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Chris. I'm sure someone knows who they are.

An intriguing carving Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Makes you wonder, Chad, right?
There must be a story to this
Ginnie Hart: Definitely, Bill. I'm sure we could all come up with one.

I'm not sure I would want to be civil with him, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHAHAHA, Lisl. Actually, me neither. grin

Haha indeed. You can pick your friends but not your work colleagues. Some could not understand why I did not want to socialise with them! The two faces here may be lovers wink
Ginnie Hart: Lovers with enough sense to keep something in between them, Alan?!?! smile

Réuni pour l'éternité
JP
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling you may be right, JP.
it's easier to be civil with a hedge between us and others lol... very handsome couple tho! nice shot!
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling most people keep a hedge between them for one reason or another, Elaine. (sigh)
There does seem to be a lack of civility between the two of them. I like to think I'm generally a civil person but I do tend to agree with Alan about work colleagues, there were some who had no idea of the meaning of the word and I was rweally glad when I didn't have to put up with them any more, and i'm talking mainly bosses here!
Ginnie Hart: And don't even get me started on what Astrid had to put up with at her work! I'm so glad she is finally retired (even though her 2 years of unemployment means she supposedly still needs to look for a job...at age 64!).

Oh, I await for civil discourse once again, but fear it may not be in my lifetime. A fine close-up with great detail!
Ginnie Hart: I hate to think you might be right, Steven. What ever happened to us????? Thanks.

He probably sit the whole morning in front of the mirror, doing his facial hair. Living in a castle, he probably can afford it.
Ginnie Hart: Of course, you're right, Louis! smile
Civility seems to be a lost art in this day and age. But when you do encounter it, Ginnie, it makes for a happier & brighter day. Love how you've processed this.
Ginnie Hart: I hate that we seem to have come to this, Beverly. Will it ever change in our lifetimes??? Thank you.

they look alike
Ginnie Hart: A match made in heaven, Sherri? smile
The saying is - 'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush', so he's still got work to do to capture her affections.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. I like that, Martin. smile
No problem for me.
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Mary. Same for me. smile

They look like they've had many years to converse. So much interesting detail in the carving. Nice capture.
Ginnie Hart: It wouldn't make sense to NOT be civil at this point in time, Bonnie, right? smile
Most of the world is civil. It takes a very very very tiny minority to ruin it for the rest of us.
Ginnie Hart: And don't we all hate how one nasty apple can spoil the whole lot!
Beautifully presented. The details are so smooth and clear.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry.
Oui ce serait bien si leschoses changeaient un peu en ce sens !!
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: It sometimes makes you wonder what our world is coming to, Claudine!
I agree with Frank L. Croston!
Ginnie Hart: (sigh)
Let's not talk about it.
