Jolie photo de groupe. J'aime les couleurs de leur tenue.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. I love seeing groups like this riding together in the same uniform.
Great post, Ginnie! I like the faded tones!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth.
Good catch Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Frank.

Ginnie Hart: I actually thought of you, Ray, while posting this image!

This is a great picture and by the gesture of the bikerider they go to #54. The sign with #55 and #54 are directions in our country wide "bike road network". It is possible to plan a route along those numbers and there are signs all over the Netherlands. I really like this picture, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to you, Astrid, to figure out where they're going based on the bike signs you see! You can be proud of your country's attention to and support of bike riders like this. I love it for you, knowing you have so much fun when you're out on your bike going from here to there.
Nicely done. Car drivers need to keep an eye out for the cyclists.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. You're so right. In Dutchland, the cars are used to the bike riders, of course, and vice versa.

I don't know how people can cycle in this heat, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It was evening when I captured this, Lisl, and wasn't that hot that day. However, watching the TdF these days, I KNOW it's doggone hot right now, so I agree with you.

Yesterday I have never been so hot in Bath, the place was like a sauna. I hope things were cooler for these cyclists
Ginnie Hart: I have never experienced heat here in The Netherlands as bad as it is now, Chris...and for several days in a row. It's quite alarming, to be honest, knowing it can get worse in the years to come? (sigh) The day of this image, around 8 p.m., was fairly cool, thankfully.

Too far to be the Tour de France ;-) !
Ginnie Hart: Too far, indeed, Anne, but we're still watching it on TV. smile

All neat in their uniforms.
Ginnie Hart: As they say, Chad, birds of a feather flock/fly together?! HA!
En ce moment il n'y a que sur un vélo qu'on arrive à  avoir un peu d'air mais pour eux, c'est vraiment sportif ;-)
Sympa ta photo.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thankfully it wasn't during a heat wave when I took this image, Pascale. But today, I don't know how they can stand it! Merci.

I like their team kit. The Nether;ands are often used as an example of how cycling instructor should be in our cities but we don't have the money nor political will to do anything. We're heading out later today; temperatures expected to be in the low-30degs here - horrible!
Ginnie Hart: You're teaching me something new, Alan, about The Netherlands, but it doesn't surprise me at all. Astrid says they are probably from nearby Leerdam, a sponsored team. Glasstad is a cycling club sponsored by Royal Leerdam Glass, famous worldwide, and has 80 members.

This is a fine capture of the bikers' team, yes, Nederland is a bikers country with so much attention and support for them!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Philine. Dutchland treats its bikers well, for sure!
Bravo pour le rendu de cette photo
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.
my little brother used to bike like that... he was always on a bike, even in highschool, he road one of those little banana seaters to school everymorning lol jumping over snow banks while i trudged the whole way lol
this is a pretty picture... love the greens and the blues!
Ginnie Hart: Lots of nice memories for you, Elaine. Did someone say SNOW BANKS??? HA! We sure could use some of them right now! smile Thanks.
I feel the heat here. Good one, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It wasn't as bad that day as it is now, Mary. Last night was the hottest night on record for The Netherlands at 23.2C. Way too hot, but tomorrow it's supposed to get a bit better, they say?

Great action shot ..looks like a hot day!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Emily. It's hotter today than it was then, but still warm enough!
I like the light and almost washed out look. Creates a lovely mood.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ruthie!

And hopefully they have comfortable seats for the long haul. smile Thankfully the weather here has been more springlike in the 70's. Thank you, Lake Michigan!
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure they have comfortable seats AND padding in their pants, Steven. smile And lucky you to be near enough to the lake to get the cool-down!
I guess, looking at their clothing, they are out for a club ride together.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they are, Brian, and maybe even preparing for a race?!
it sounds like a good new Friday theme Ginnie... there is a lot of biking in The Netherlands....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It's a theme I like to use for Friday from time to time, Peter, especially since we see bikes everywhere, indeed. Thanks.

They seem to be keeping pace with each other.
Ginnie Hart: They certainly know how to stick together as a team, Cherry.
I guess they don't get much experience of hill climbs!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Not in The Netherlands, Tom, for sure! smile
Wonderful perspective and love the softening of the edges!
Ginnie Hart: They came and went so quickly, Robin. I was just glad I caught them before they turned the corner. Thank you.
