What a gorgeous view that you've captured along this river!! That restaurant has prime seating as they overlook the river.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure this is the most photographed spot in all of Monschau, Steven. And I bet that restaurant's terrace is seldom empty.

Nice wide angle! Lovely buildings.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. It's a memorable place!
Communication breakdown Ginnie....smile Still a lovely shot.
Ginnie Hart: Yup. Usually we like to do our versions on the same day....HA! Thanks.

very pretty

i love the flowers in the window boxes
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, and I do, too, Sherri. So European.
Another astounding view of that spot.
Ginnie Hart: It's surely the most photographed spot in that lovely town, Michael.
Superbe vue pour les clients du restaurant.
Ginnie Hart: Lucky diners, for sure, Martine.

Is this the custom here to build up the river banks?
Ginnie Hart: It appears so, Lisl. How wonderful, right?!

Delightful isn't it. I bet you enjoyed your trip there
Ginnie Hart: Yes, and Yes, Chris. The second I saw online images of the half-timbered houses, I immediately knew I wanted to go there! I was not disappointed (a birthday gift from Astrid).

an iconic view - the red house is well- known - I would like to sit down in the café on the right. A beautiful image!
Ginnie Hart: I can imagine you've been here many times, Philine? I'll never forget it!

I do believe that Philine has showed a similar view some time ago. I expect the tables in the restaurant are much desired. I love the houses just beyond.
Ginnie Hart: I don't remember seeing Philine's image, Alan, but if she was there, surely she captured this view. More Monschau-ish you cannot get!

Wonderful view, Ginnie. This is one of those places that is worth visiting and have a walk around. Great memories and the food was good at the café at the right.
Ginnie Hart: It was such a great birthday gift, Astrid, for which I thank you profusely!
Wat toevallig op precies dezelfde plaats in zo`n overvloedig fotogeniek plaatsje.
Fijne zomer
Ginnie Hart: How could we not want to visit such a place, Marjolein. Enjoy your summer now!
Très bel endroit au charme incontestable, vraiment j'aime beaucoup cette photo.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale. You would love visiting this picturesque town!

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elaine. I would like it if you could travel and be up on that balcony!

Now I can see where Astrid stood when she made her picture.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Louis. smile
I live on a river so I will certainly appreciate your blessing this weekend! A beautiful scene full of life!
Ginnie Hart: How sweet, Ruthie. Thank you.
Such a lovely place to have a cup of tea.
Ah, and some currywurst perhaps?! Ha
Ginnie Hart: How did you know, LC!!!! We had currywurst just to the right outside this image! smile
I am so envious that you were able to see this, Philine will tell you I am so keen to see some traditional German buildings for myself but I think that wish will be unfulfilled.
Ginnie Hart: I wish you could see this for yourself, Brian, but hopefully this image is the next best thing!
Picturesque in the extreme.
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, Larry!
Very picturesque!
Ginnie Hart: More picturesque you cannot get, Tom! smile
It is such a delight you could post a version every week Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed so, Bill. smile

Well great minds posting such a beautiful scene! I'd love to be sitting out on that patio!
Ginnie Hart: You would love it there, Robin. This is one of the many reasons why I love living in Europe, as you can imagine!

So delightful smile

This is one of the places I had hoped to visit this year. But the year is not panning out that way... So maybe next year ;-)
Ginnie Hart: You will absolutely love it, Cherry, if you ever get there!
this is a fine view, Ginnie. i wonder if you all had the time to stop at that cafe?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. That particular café's terrace was full when we were ready to eat, so we ate at a place just off to the right of this image. It was lovely, and still near the river.
Oh that's beautiful, Ginnie! And yes - we've finally gotten some rain - Thank the Good Lord!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. And how wonderful that you've gotten some rain!!!
I have seen this view on puzzles.
Ginnie Hart: That tells you how iconic it is, then, Mary!
