A Mid-Week Break

Three's not a crowd when you're having fun, right?

(on a pond in my daughter's neighborhood, North-Atlanta, GA)

G'son Nicholas, Astrid and I are in Germany (Monschau and Cologne) yesterday and today.

Come on over...there is plency of yoom for one more...
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Ray. It's good to see you. Please take care of yourself.
Good shot, Ginnie, I've taken the almost identical shot on a lake near my old home in England. I met the woman who claimed to have released them in there years ago, now there are lots of them.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Frank. Every time we visit my daughter in Atlanta, we see them...with heads bobbing around them in the water. I 'spect it's first come first served!
I love that.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. I do, too. smile
It's always funny to me how they crowd onto one stick like that! Great shot!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Elizabeth...and thank you!

This seems to be a lovestory? No, we know the three stooges! (I like your image very much.
Oh, you have chosen interesting places to show Nicholas.
Ginnie Hart: This IS a love story, Philine. I really like that thought. Someone in Gorinchem gave us the idea to see Monschau, which was new to me yesterday. Cologne will be on our way home!

Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I love how they do this, Pascale, year after year. Merci.

This is a great picture and with your camera you can really come in close to these three, Ginnie. I wonder if these are the same three we saw last year at the same stick and now a little bigger.....
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. I wondered the same thing!

Ginnie Hart: We had lots of fun and are now back home. I commented on the pic that was last up...before you posted the new one.
Oh let me guess...

G-N-A in the shot?

Yea, Grandson N is the little one in the middle.
Ginnie Hart: Awwww. Isn't that sweet, LC. Leave it to you. smile
What a great, and amusing, shot. Far be it for me to tell you what to do but if you haven't been in Cologne cathedral then it really is a must do, we got 2 hours there changing trains one year and spent nearly all the time in there.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, definitely, Brian. That was the main reason for taking Nicholas to Cologne, Brian...to see the cathedral. It was our third time!
Well spotted Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill.

Lovely portrait of three!
Ginnie Hart: As I just said on your image, Beth, The Three Graces. I hadn't yet thought of that for these three turtles. smile
Sweet! I see these little ones all the time in the lake in Central Park. I just love when their little heads bob up and down!
Ginnie Hart: They never cease to amaze me, Robin. smile I think they'd be adorable in Central Park.
