That bottle looks like it deserves to hold brown rum, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I think I'd probably like whatever it might hold, Ray. smile

Jolies couleurs, j'aime le bleu.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. So do I...and the maroon/burgundy.
How very elegant. And I love the gorgeous colours. Especially that cranberry coloured glass.
Ginnie Hart: Elegant is a good word, Michael. I like that cranberry colored glass, too!
A very nice comp! I like the deep colors of the glass!
Ginnie Hart: So simple and lovely. Thanks, Elizabeth.

Ginnie Hart: We have been quite impressed, Philine, by every exhibition that comes to our wee museum. Can hardly wait for the next one. smile Bedankt.
Wat een mooi stilleven.

Beautiful colors and glass forms, including the table!
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Steven, isn't it...knowing what you can do with glass! Thanks.
I rather like these, they look far too nice to actually use.
Ginnie Hart: I think you may be right, Brian. smile
Love the simplicity of the arrangement...the colors...and yes, we really need a "little something or other" these days!
Ginnie Hart: It was the simplicity that "called" to me, Robin. And yes, I know you understand about these days! (sigh)

Nicely laid out smile
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Cherry. smile
oh yes, nice composition for this theme, Ginnie, and it does set the mood to settle down a bit for a while.
Ginnie Hart: I guess we all can relate, Ayush! Thanks.
Still life, beautiful framing. I've tried it myself, better forget it. smile
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Claudio, but I can't imagine you would need to forget it!
I used to do watercolour back in Malaysia. Still life was a popular theme. smile
You need to add a durian to make this look Malaysian. wink
The funny thing - we usually had apples or pears, never a durian.
Ginnie Hart: One day I'd like to taste a durian, LC. Would you please bring me one when you come to visit us?

It must be 5:00 somewhere!! I like the reflections in the glass and the complementary colors..would you every try it without the shadow at the bottom left?
Ginnie Hart: LOL about it being 5:00 somewhere. Indeed so, Bonnie. Actually, I went back-n-forth on whether to keep the shadow, so, yes, I would try leaving it out. This time I decided to leave it in...for the 5 o'clock effect???? smile
