That oven looks like it would be good for cooking pizza, Ginnie...that would work for me!

A fine image, and I especially like the glossy sheen of the floor tiles.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. These castle reenactments were quite compelling.

A servant in that kitchen would love a mid-week break ;-)
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure of it, Cherry!
Sounds like a good idea, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I think it's always a good idea, Frank?! smile
And everything in it's place! Nice lighting, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. I think we can safely say lots has changed since then! smile

This is a great place to have a party with friends, space enough for a lot of people and have a great time. Ginnie, this is a fabulous picture, I love the B&W in it and the lighting is beautiful.
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Astrid. I love these reenactments in castles and find them to be quite photogenic. smile

I would be happy in such a kitchen, provided it had modern lighting..
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Chris, I can picture it!

Oh, now we are in the kitchen down - another nice still- life of former days!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Philine. I do like these castle reenactments.

I like that solid functional kitchen table, Ginnie. It would be nice to work on
Ginnie Hart: I so agree, Lisl. I can picture you making all your tarts on it!
Très accueillante cette cuisine !!
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Claudine, even if without modern conveniences.

No... let's have cake; that's a lot more fun smile I can imagine some fresh bread baked in the oven not he right.
Ginnie Hart: HA! There will always be cake just for you, Alan, because we all know you work it off very quickly! smile
Prachtig stilleven met die boog er boven.
Ginnie Hart: Don't you love it, Marjolein! Bedankt.

Another great one Ginnie, I particularly like the light reflected under the table.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. I do enjoy these castle reenactments.
Bon jour Ginnie,
Du sol au plafond, j'apprécie de regarder tous ces petits détails, certains de ces objets, dont beaucoup d'entre eux ont marqué mon enfance chez mes grands parents.
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Fond memories for you, then, Pascale. Nostalgia is so much a part of our lives, isn't it, the older we are. smile
I'm sure manya a good pie, cake or stew was created here
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, Martin!

This picture has me wishing for a kitchen like this, with a person working there, so that I don't need to cook anymore. Of course there is the prerequisite requirement of winning the lotto.

Looks like selective colouring for the brick wall and floor.
Ginnie Hart: No selective coloring here, Louis, but I can understand how a kitchen like this would make you warm and fuzzy, as long as someone else was doing the cooking. HA!

ok, where's the fridge? smile lovely, dark picture, sooo relaxing xox
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Elaine. Did they have fridges back then??? smile Thanks.
I really like this, lots more 'stuff' to have a good look at.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Brian. That's what these places do to me. Thanks.

What a beautiful and clean set-up in this kitchen!! I love the sense of order this presents where nothing appears out of place.
Ginnie Hart: Everything does seem to have its place and purpose, Steven, doesn't it!
The kitchen looks ready for me.
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's all yours then, Mary!

Almost a complete silhouette ....such an interesting use of tones...beautiful.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bonnie. I really liked what I saw there.
My kind of snap Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Bill, I know. Bills of a feather.... smile
Would you like to sit at the table, with a nice glass of wine to munch roasted chestnuts, I imagine that somewhere there must also be a fireplace.
Ginnie Hart: Now THAT'S a good idea, Claudio! Let's do it!!! smile
ops smile I noticed it only on the right side of the image
Ginnie Hart: Well, yes...maybe we can also have a pizza??? smile
This is like a large still life...
Ginnie Hart: It is, indeed, Larry. smile
How did you know I like garlic?!
Kiss me when we meet though.
I will make sure I brush my teeth twice before I see you.
Yes I will gargle with some mouthwash too. wink
Ginnie Hart: But if you let me know ahead of time, LC, I will eat garlic, too, and then it won't matter, right???? smile
A fabulous shot. Wonderful backlight.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. I enjoyed seein all the different room setups.

prachtig stilleven in tegenlicht Ginnie

de keuze van zwart/wit geeft er iets extra aan

groeten
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Willy. It was a fun day seeing what it used to be like in times gone by.
At least those in the kitchen were fed!
Ginnie Hart: I assume so, Tom!
Gosh...look at how everything is so perfect! Certainly not a reflection of my kitchen, ha ha! And that table...to die for.
Ginnie Hart: I think we all would love that table, Robin...if we had enough room for it. HA!
