Time to put Humpty Dumpty back together again?

A fascinating collection of old shards, Ginnie.

[No...I am not referring to you and Astrid...] smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Thanks for the clarification, Ray. smile
Happy Happy Happy Anniversary! It couldn't have happened to two more wonderful people (Oh wait...) smile So pleased to be following in your footsteps!

This is a really lovely shot of these shards!
Ginnie Hart: You'll be at your 8th before you know it, Elizabeth. TIME FLIES! Thank you!

Ginnie Hart: Great pun, Frank...and yes, you do know. #8 will be here for you before you know it!
Did you find any treasure?

Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Philine. Astrid, sadly, has a sinus infection right now and is not at the top of her game. But hopefully she'll be well soon!

No broken pieces for you and Astrid! Have a very happy day, my two dear friends
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Lisl. Astrid is fighting a sinus infection right now, so our planned dinner tonight at a nearby restaurant will be saved for Friday, assuming she'll be okay by then.
Joyeux anniversaire de mariage , je vous souhaite encore de belles années de bonheur à  venir
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Claudine. Merci. I don't think we could possibly be happier.

I can’t believe how quickly time moves on Ginnie. All this broken pottery, did you do this in a fit of rage?
Ginnie Hart: Time really DOES move on, Chad, doesn't it! And no...no fit of rage. But I can picture someone wanting to get a-hold of this to make some pretty art pieces.
and i've watched it happen on here! i remember you working at starbucks, brave woman!

and YES IT'S TIME TO PUT HUMPTY DUMPTY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!!! for pity's sake!!

hehe

lovely shards... pity us humpties lol

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! XOXOX TO U BOTH!!!
Ginnie Hart: It's been quite the journey, Elaine, hasn't it! I almost forgot about Starbucks. What a good memory! Thanks for the anniversary wishes.

Looking at the debris, you must have had a brilliant party. A bit hard on the crockery, but as you mentioned - the 8 years were special.

Happy anniversary.

PS. do you still have the particulars of the company and boat you took along the Norwegian coast?
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it the Japanese who put pieces of broken pottery back together with gold-plated glue (or some such thing)? Wouldn't that be special! They've been some of the best 8 years of my life, Louis.

I'll write you an email about The Hurtigruten cruise....
I can't believe time has passed by so quickly, congratulations and a happy day to both of you.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Time seems to fly when you're in love. smile
and hearty congratulation to you, Ginnie (and Astrid)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!

A great collage of pieces in varying shapes, colors and sizes!! Happy Anniversary to you and Astrid!!
Ginnie Hart: Broken pieces from eons ago are so intriguing, Steve. Thank you.
I can't believe it has gone that quickly . Love and congratulations to you both from Ange and me
Ginnie Hart: I know, Bill. And to think you have been in on it from the very beginning! Thank you.
jolies couleurs!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
All the king's horses and all the king's men...
Ginnie Hart: Good one, Larry!
The eight years is amazing and I am glad we've all shared the journey. Nice collection of shards. I found some cool ones on the glass combing day in November.
Ginnie Hart: What I love so much about our 8 years, Mary...and even a couple years before, is that so many of you have followed from the very beginning! Thank you.
Many congrats to you both!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
bits and pieces Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Or bits and bobs, as our English friends would say. smile
All the King's Horses and all the King's Men hadn't heard of Superglue
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. Good one, Martin. smile
That is beautiful and kind of sad.
Ginnie Hart: The part that is beautiful is that all these pieces were found from eons ago. The sad part, of course, is that they're broken. But as my ex-husband would say, half a loaf is better than no vacation at all. smile
Joyeux anniversaire à  vous deux !
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
Only G can put Humpty back together again. wink
Ginnie Hart: G as in God??? smile

Great caption for the photo, Ginnie. Sometimes I feel that way on a Monday, too smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! I think we all can identify, Emily. smile
No because? You would not get the same effect anymore smile
Ginnie Hart: Very true, Claudio! So I wonder why so many people try to do it???
Love all those broken pieces! I'm sure you had a wonderful celebration for 8 years! Congrats!!
Ginnie Hart: Even though Astrid was in the middle of a sinus infection on that day, by the end of the week she was well enough to celebrate, so we did! Thanks, Robin.
