Thank you, Ginnie - I hope the same for you...
This is a lovely, lovely image to send us sailing off into the weekend!

If this fabulous picture does not calm us down then something is wrong. Being there in the snow and with the company we had, this was a very memorable day, Ginnie. One to not forget.
Ginnie Hart: You are so right, Astrid. I know I'll never forget it! Bedankt.

I love how you make the most of the snow, Ginnie, in pictures like this
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Lisl. It sure brings out the Child in me!
Bonjour
Esperons que nous n'ayons pas plus de pluie , car la France en ce moment est sous les eaux ..beaucoup d'inondations ..
J'aime beaucoup ta photo .ce pont est charmant
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Even the Dutch are working hard to control the high water levels right now, Claudine, so I can understand your concern. Merci for your comment. Stay high and dry!

Oh wonderful! This would make a cracking Christmas card, I think, with some nice bright red text.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Alan, Astrid has her own version of this scene and has chosen it for our Christmas card next year (her turn). Like minds and all. smile

A very nice winter scene as I love it!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Philine.
This is nice Ginnie. Hopefully we will get a respite from the rain this weekend. We are going to Croome court with Kathryn tomorrow
Ginnie Hart: I suppose you'll be sending your rain to us, Bill? If so, we'll try to stay high and dry. You, too. Enjoy Croome Court.

we too have parks with those small 'billy goats gruff' bridges in them... i would be scared of trolls! beautiful snowy picture!!
Ginnie Hart: Trolls!!! LOL. The places your mind takes you, Elaine! grin
Cette photo me donne envie de franchir cet adorable petit pont.
Bonne journée Ginnie et jolie cliché
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Pascale. We wanted to cross it but there was a steep, slippery slope down to the bridge, with muddy spots under the snow. So we decided to take photos of it instead. smile Merci.
Wat een prachtig en rustgevend wintersplaatje. Mooi met het besneeuwde bruggetje.
@ En ik als Hollandse ben niet zo weg van kool smile
Fijn weekend
Ginnie Hart: Bedankt, Marjolein. I love these quaint, picturesque places in snow. They stay forever etched in my mind's eye. But too bad you're not zo weg van kool. smile

This is a gorgeous scene and it would make a nice greeting card.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Mary. Astrid has a similar shot which she will use as our holiday card next year (her turn). smile

An inviting PoV that you've captured here over the bridge and into the woods!! Have a fantabulous weekend as well!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Steven. It was a great memory for this winter.
Other people have made the greetings card comment, serves me right for being late on SC today, we have been out to a local steam railway for most of the day so far.
Ginnie Hart: Priorities, Brain. You did right to be away doing what you love! Thank you.
Lovely treatment, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Tom.
great shot and treatment Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Peter.
I am hoping for a triple-C weekend...
Ginnie Hart: Now you've got me wondering exactly what a triple-C weekend might be, Larry! smile
With a three year old grandson here, the weekend will not be calm smile But is will be wonderful.

Very cool image.
Ginnie Hart: Bless you, Michael. Did I mention that Astrid and I will be g'mas in September? Our day is coming! smile

Beautiful!
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Anne.
I took a quick look at some of your works, definitely notable, especially this last one of you, a silent poem.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Claudio. And welcome, again, to SC.
Oh, I just love all the twigs!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Robin. The snow seemed to paint them all!
