nice use of the lights here, Ginnie. i like the illumination. i wish the figure were a bit more clearer, i guess cross visitations were common at the Verona amphitheatre!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. The figure is a man, as far as I can tell. Cross visitations...?
Greta find and capture!!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth.

Very tastefully executed, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ray.
This is a cracking picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I don't know about that, Bill, but thanks anyway. It was fun to see.

Originale comme lumière, l'endroit a l'air très sombre.
Ginnie Hart: Very dark down there, Martine. The lights did help. Merci.

Possibly in use for centuries, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: The TOILETTE, Lisl? I wonder. The ampitheater...definitely!

This was sticking out like a 'sore thumb'.... This turned out fabulous... See it as 'the guiding light"... HA some men might need it... grin.
Ginnie Hart: Now I'm trying to remember if we ever saw a similar Ladies sign? But, yes, what a place! Bedankt.

Haha! I wonder what that room was originally used for; a waiting room for the Christians before going to see the lions? 😳
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Alan!!!

Only for the signori? Where are the masses, the toilets have to be.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Philine. I'm sure they were there...in fact, I think we even visited one... but this is the one I captured.

Selective lighting? You have created a great picture. You took this picture on the way out, didn't you? Women I know will not stop on the way in.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, now that you mention it.... smile
Belle ambiance pour cette photo ..
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Dark and moody sometimes works, Claudine?? smile
Excellent, et là , on ne peut pas le rater ;-)
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Can't miss it at all, for sure, Pascale. smile Merci.
Only gents? No ladies?!
Still selective though! Ha ha
Ginnie Hart: I think we actually went into the Ladies WC, LC, but it was THIS one that I captured, for some reason (????).
I've got to admit I don't remember seeing this while we were there so obviously I didn't require use of the services, shall we say!
Ginnie Hart: I think I noticed it, Brian, because of how brightly it stood out inside the tunnels!
Just very cool!
Ginnie Hart: Very necessary, Robin? smile
jolie lumière!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP. The darkness cannot extinguish the light!
Mmm - one would have to be rather brave!
Ginnie Hart: I suppose so, Tom. smile
it is well displayed where to go in such a dark setting Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Definitely hard to miss, Peter. smile
That is a gorgeous shot. The sign against the stone is a wonderful contrast.
Ginnie Hart: Now that I think of it, Michael, this is like a shot YOU might have captured, so I guess you've rubbed off on me. smile
indeed it is a man. i imagine if there was lack in sufficient clarity or if someone happened to suffer from not so good vision, the gender of the small figure could lead to a woman walking into this one and vice versa, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Ahhhh. Now I get it, Ayush. HA!

Ginnie Hart: When your mind gets going, it really does get going, Elaine. grin
I like the illustration on the sign...
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Larry. smile

It is very brightly lit.
Ginnie Hart: Thankfully so, Cherry, for those in need. smile
