Good luck finding that quiet spot!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Larry. Here in the Netherlands, no worries!
I'm not going anywhere! Holding out for Small Business Saturday!
I love this B&W shot, Ginnie! Great POV!
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Elizabeth!!!!
i like how your eye was drawn to this scene, Ginnie. i love this composition.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. It's been sitting in my unassigned bin until now, when it seemed to fit.

We could lean our elbows on the table, and settle into a long afternoon of storytelling accompanied by salted nuts and icy beers...
Ginnie Hart: We could, indeed, Ray! smile
Interesting smile
Ginnie Hart: I suppose so? smile

This looks very appealing to me to miss the big crowds. Love the Point of View here and the nicely arranged chairs around the table. Very inviting.
Ginnie Hart: It looked appealing to me, too, Astrid. Bedankt. I hope a lot of people decide it's not worth it to be part of the stampede?!

Ces chaises ont l'air bien hautes, pas facile de s'assoir dessus
Ginnie Hart: I think once you up on them they're probably quite comfortable, Martine. smile

Could you reach, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: By the looks of it, Lisl, I think we decided NOT to be in the center of things...and perhaps were at a "normal" side table?

I suspect your opinion of Black Friday is the same as mine Ginnie, something to be avoided at all costs..
Ginnie Hart: Nowadays especially, Chris. It appears to be getting worse and worse with every year. (sigh)

I love this perspective- wonderful patterns!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. I'm guessing we were sitting at one of the more "normal" tables and thereby were able to get this view. smile

A clever study of chairs and table Ginnie. I like the way you go for an alternative view.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. It was probably the symmetry I liked.
I make a point of not buying anything on this absurd day, which seems to have become at least a week

I think I will join you for a quiet coffee here smile
Ginnie Hart: PLEASE come and join us here, Bill. Wouldn't that be splendid.
Un graphisme sympa au coeur de tous ces pieds de bois.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I like the way you said that, Pascale. Better than the feet of stampeding people!

I’m sick to death of the all the adverts i’ve had about “amazing Black Friday deals”. This is far more to my liking, though. Much more relaxing.
Ginnie Hart: The world has gone crazy, Alan, so the rest of us need to perpetuate good sense!

People are crazy - really crazy. Even the roads are flooded, way beyond normal. A great picture indeed.
Ginnie Hart: Year after year and they never "get" it! What have we come to???? Thanks, Louis.

what a peaceful picture! i love the chocolate tones leading to black... so rich...
Ginnie Hart: I sure hope you Canadians don't get caught up in Black Friday, Elaine!!! (sigh) But thanks for your comment.
So true! I'm staying local in my little neighborhood today!
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Robin!!!
Nice b/w abstract, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
What a good idea, printing the church newsletter and a doctors appointment for M is as far as we've got on this rather silly day.
Ginnie Hart: You can take the rest of the weekend off, then, Brian! smile

Staying indoors sounds like a good plan to me smile
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes it's the BEST plan, Cherry. smile
He he... I am sure I can find one if I live in the Outback in OZ.
Ginnie Hart: Well, then. Sweet dreams, LC. smile
the best way to spend Black Friday is in the pub Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, as long as it's not too crowded, Peter, I'm fine. smile
Here it is no shopping Friday.
That is a wonderful image with terrific processing.
Ginnie Hart: A place that has no shopping is where I'd want to be that day, Michael! Thank you, as always.

Great forms and lines captured in something I would have thought not worthy. Nice use of lighting as well.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Steven. It was the symmetry that I loved most, I think. smile
