Très belle photo de ce héron. J'aime le traitement sépia.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Martine.
Ooooh I love that! Beautiful, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth. I wonder what she saw?
That is an awesome shot.

He's looking at you but I don't think he's bothered Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: He may be looking at YOU, Chris, but definitely not at me. smile

You can never go wrong for me with a Heron, Ginnie - I love them
Ginnie Hart: The same for me, Lisl. We see them here quite often but I was surprised to see one in Georgia, USA!

What a fine bird Ginnie. It looks good in greyscale.
Ginnie Hart: It's quite a stately bird, Chad, isn't it. It's one time when being grey is an honor, I think.

It is amazing how he stayed there and posed for you. This is a wonderful portrait of that heron, Ginnie. Love it.
Ginnie Hart: He really was concentrating on something, Astrid, wasn't he! Thank you.

They are such impressive birds. Oh to have their patience and eyesight.
Ginnie Hart: I do suppose we all could learn much from such a bird, Alan. "As a Chinese symbol the Heron represents strength, purity, patience and long life. In Africa, the Heron was thought to communicate with the Gods. Most Native American tribes took note of the heron's inquisitiveness, curiosity and determination." (Google)
Quelle belle photo ...merci
Bon lundi
Ginnie Hart: Merci, as always, Claudine.

Time for a spot of fishing
Ginnie Hart: I bet we can learn from him/her, Bill.
Toujours cet air plein de fierté le Héron.
Sympa ce sépia.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascalre. I always love seeing the heron!

Beautiful!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray.
Ours are gone south, Ginnie. Maybe that is one from here.

Love the composition here and it's looking out stare.
Ginnie Hart: Who knows, Mary. Maybe this one is longing for PEI? smile
Super shot, Ginnie. How stately Herons are.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Frank, and I so agree!
Very good shot Ginnie. usually these birds stand still long enough to get a good picture.
Ginnie Hart: I usually have to get one from afar, Brian, or else it goes flying off.

I agree with you - if it had been looking at you, it would have been bothered - who wouldn't? (With reference to Chris' comment and your reply).
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Louis. You just gave me a huge smile. grin
Wonderful pose, full of light...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. Makes me wonder what he/she was seeing!

This photo is such a delight smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry. It's always a delight for me when a heron sits still long enough for me to capture it!
Loved the way it is looking smile
Ginnie Hart: The side view is almost always its best side, Joshi, right? smile Thanks.
Oh, pure perfection! Herons are amazing creatures for sure! Love the symbolism you share in your comment to Alan.
Ginnie Hart: I always love Googling the symbolism of animals and birds I see, Robin. I wonder what your animal guide/spirit is? Mine is the wolf, as you surely know by now.
