A Mid-Week Break

Take time to hit the "pause" button, wherever you are.

(the Sant'Anastasia basilica in Verona, Italy)

Tomorrow Astrid and I celebrate 10 years from when we first met here on SC,

and that's enough to give ME pause!

Ok...but I would need a coffee about now!
Ginnie Hart: HA! But not as "busy" as your temples, Ray!
A time to sit with Astrid and enjoy the calm.
Ginnie Hart: I'm so glad you spotted her, Michael! smile

Great B&W and it is good to take a pause and take it all in. 10 years, happy anniversary to us, time flies
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Astrid. How is it possible...10 years! It seems like forever and yet still like yesterday. We are so lucky!

A wonderful b&w composition - and Happy anniversary to you both!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you on both accounts, Philine. Enjoy your trip!
Beautiful light on this photo!
Ten years! Isn't that amazing!! Time does fly!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. And before long, you, two, will meet your 10-year milestone. It arrives faster than you'd expect!
Un instant de sérénité.
Bonne journée Ginnie

I can't believe it's TEN YEARS Ginnie!

Smashing picture here..
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris, about the image...and I KNOW, about the 10 years. So much water has gone under our bridge (or over our dam?). Unbelievable.
Cette Basilique est superbe ..Joyeux anniversaire de rencontre ..
Et surtout bonne pause
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: We all need good breaks, Claudine, don't we! Merci.

Time to reflect on those 9 years 364 days; I'm sure you both wonder where these years have gone. smile The basilica looks HUGE.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Alan. We're still pinching ourselves and have never once second-guessed the Journey we both have taken! The basilica IS huge.
A fine place to reflect. Ten years....just about the time I started on Shutterchance which was August 16th. Doesn't time fly??!
Ginnie Hart: Ten years for many of us, Bill, which has given us many years of friendship! Yes, time really does fly.

awwww, 10 years! time is just flying by!! indeed a pause is welcome! beautiful picture, sister!
Ginnie Hart: When you think about how we calculate our age in decades, the 10 years has new meaning, Elaine, doesn't it. I have known Astrid for 1/7th of my life!

What a wonderful milestone to celebrate Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I think so, too, Chad. I just told Elaine that when we calculate our age by decades, I have now known Astrid for 1/7th of my life! Just think about what you could say about Norma!
Take in the awe that is now ten years in the making.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Mary. We do!
This lovely building looks great in B.& W. Congrats on the 10 years, I will have been on SC for 10 years on 29th.December.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. We've been around for a good stint of friendship. We're all so lucky.

The vicar will be discouraged to see only one person in the audience for his sermon. This is a great picture.
Ginnie Hart: The vicar will then remember that this was AFTER the sermon, Louis. smile Thanks.
B&W very appropriate for this shot, Ginnie. And happy anniversary!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you on both counts, Tom!
He he... Not the "pause" button.
We need to hit the "replay" button! Congrats G&A.
Ginnie Hart: Awww. I like that thought, LC. Thank you.

Ginnie Hart: Thank you very much, Cherry. The time has flown!
Wonderful composition and of course congrats to you both for finding your soul mate!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, dear Robin. It took a lot of "connecting the dots" before it all happened but it all was totally worth it and we couldn't be happier, as you already know!
superbe noir et blanc pour une compo extra!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Merci.
