A fabulous and unique still-life image, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. When Astrid saw it, she immediately said, "This is a Ginnie picture." It was outside on the terrace of a restaurant in Amersfoort...on a Sunday.
Awe - darnit... OK.
smile I love this shot of the old Coke boxes... and are those drink coasters? Anyway - wonderful photo!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth, and yes, those are beer mats. I've never seen Coke boxes sectioned off like that in America, so I was impressed. Wouldn't mind having one for myself. smile
A really nice shot. I would love to have some of those great boxes.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael, and so would I. I've never seen Coke boxes sectioned off like that.

J'aime bien les objets en bois tellement plus beau que le plastique.
Ginnie Hart: I agree with you, Martine.

Ginnie Hart: It sure caught my eye, Astrid! Thanks.

Wonderful stuff wood Ginnie, so flexible and durable. What are these things?
Ginnie Hart: Since these were lined up on the terrace tables outside a restaurant, Chris, I assume they're table accessories? I do recognize the beer mats and menu holders.
Une belle composition.
J'aime ces vieilles caisses pour les recycler et leur donner une nouvelle existence. Des tas de possibilités.
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Pascale, and I do, too. Lots of fun creativity!
Magnifique ces caissettes en bois
Je les garde toujours si je peux en avoir ..
Bonne journée à  toi
Ginnie Hart: I lived in Atlanta for 25 years, Claudine, which is the headquarters of Coca Cola. I had a bathroom that was full of Coke memorabilia, including Coke wallpaper. This would have been a fun addition there. smile Merci.

"Organised again" implies that one was organised at an earlier time - not true in my casesmile I somehow manage to get by, though. These container look very robust but also quite heavy.
Ginnie Hart: They say once we are retired, Alan, we're more unorganized than when we were employed. Do you find that to be true???? grin

It says "Ginnie" all over it!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Isn't it funny how that happens, Lisl! smile
In my case it would be organised for the first time

Nice pic Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's never too late, Bill! grin Thanks.

I have to say, Ginnie, that I like wood packaging.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Chad!

This is a well worked still life. They do the Coke box thing in SA as well. They rework a box to create some decorative box, making sure that at least one of the Coca Cola planks remains visible.
Ginnie Hart: It's a "winner" all over the world, Louis! Thanks.

Great capture of these vintage boxes and coasters!! Makes a great still life.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Steven. It's one of those logos that stands the test of time.
i remember the 7 oz bottles of coke in those cases Ginnie... and you should you as well....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Peter. Having lived in Atlanta for 25 years, the Coca Cola headquarters, it's hard NOT to know a lot about this brand.
Rather nice coasters aren't they. The most enjoayable Coke we've ever had was in Verona where it was so hot, over 40c. and while we waited for the coach we grabbed one each at a nearby cafe, it was so cold one could feel it all the way down, but by heck, it was refreshing.
Ginnie Hart: Coca Cola would love that testimonial, Brian! smile
Or, perhaps... dis- ??
Ginnie Hart: Perhaps, Tom???? smile
I used to decorate with wooden Coke crates... when I was young and hip. smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! The things we used to do, Larry! Having lived in Atlanta for 25 years, the headquarters of Coca Cola, I was easily forgiven for accessorizing a bathroom with all Coke memorabilia, including the wallpaper. smile
Oh...to have some of those old crates! No wonder this scene got your attention!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I know, Robin! Having lived in Atlanta for 25 years, the headquarters of Coca Cola, helped, I'm sure. smile

Ginnie Hart: Better late than never, as they say, Elaine. Thanks.
i felt your presentation looks appropriate for all the wooden tones here, Ginnie. for some reason, i was reminded of vinyl records.
Ginnie Hart: How kind of you, Ayush, and, yes, I can see the vinyl records. smile

Ginnie -- i have felt like i've spent the month organizing myself, since my trip.

Are those vinyls? Or books? Very interesting smile
Ginnie Hart: You've been a busy oman, Emily! Those are beer mats. smile
