I have a bike race on Sunday...I hope my steed is trusty!
Ginnie Hart: I hope so, too, Ray. I wish you success.
I love this shot, and how you've "frosted" the glass!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth, but I'm not sure I can take any credit for the frosted glass. Hmmm. I never even saw it since I was too concentrated on the bike!

This will do and you can hop on at the back and we go together 'into the city'... Fabulous picture. Love the treatment!!
Ginnie Hart: Another "old geezer" bike, Astrid, that can still hold its own. Thank you.

A painted brown bike - how odd!
Ginnie Hart: Before my manipulation, Chris, this was a lot more like Dutch Orange, so I guess you need to use your imagination?

I learnt a new word today 'Galavanting' - we'll visit open gardnes again - it is the second bike image from the Flehite Museum in Amersfoort (!).
Ginnie Hart: HA! You learn new words well, Philine. You can be proud of yourself! And yes, this is the second bike image from the Flehite Museum in Amersfoort. One more yet to come. smile

Il est beau avec ses formes arrondies, j'aime beaucoup.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine. Astrid would call this a Granny bike. smile

i used to have an old navy blue bike like that, it was my first bike... i had begged for one of those jellybean bikes with a banana seat and high handle bars, but my parents couldn't afford one, so i got that lol... if they made adult jelly bean bikes i would get one smile neat shot sister, it brought back memories!
Ginnie Hart: Memories light the corners of your mind. HA! I love it, Elaine. Astrid calls this a Granny Bike. smile
Très sympa encore. Tu as une belle collection.
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Pascale. Great day to you, too.

Not difficult to find a bike in The Netherlands eh Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Not difficult at all, Chad, and no matter what style!

I don't think that I would like to go very far on this. I had a similar dynamo on my bike when I was child.
Ginnie Hart: You have long ado grown from a child into a man, Alan!!!!
Très belle prise de vue !!!
Bonne journée Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.

And don't fall off on your weekend's gallivant, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA, Lisl. The thing about riding a bike is that it's second nature FOREVER after you've learned to do it. smile

Ginnie, you are the real Shutterchance Star... Bike Friday would be no where without you this week ..keep up the amazing work ...maybe one day we will have 3 Friday postings all in the same week
Ginnie Hart: Add a windmill and you'll hit the jackpot, Richard. grin
Another typical Dutch bike, but well past its best days I think.
Ginnie Hart: Well past its best days, for sure, Brian! But not us, right??? smile
Loved this one and the mood it creates smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Joshi.
Looks like they gave up after giving it a spray coat of primer
Ginnie Hart: HA! At least they used the right color. smile

A great find in this vintage bike!! I love the uniform color on all of its parts.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Steven. Nothing like the good ol' days! smile

Lovely bicycle, I need to get out and about on mine soon. The UK weather has not been favourable for a cycle ride...
Ginnie Hart: Most places are not as conducive to bike riding as in the Netherlands, Cherry, I'm afraid!
That is a very cool shot. Your eye sees beauty everywhere.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Michael. Thank you.
It's nice how the museums there keep old bikes still... Nice capture Ginnie... smile
Ginnie Hart: I guess it's keeping a record of the war, Sudipto, which makes keeping them worthwhile!

À charming bike!
Ginnie Hart: From the good ol' days, Anne! smile
was even the seat painted, Ginnie? i do like this ancient cycle. nowadays we see LED lights and rechargeable batteries, not the dynamo powered lamps. i think i saw my uncle or grandfather's bike with one of those things, when i was a boy.
Ginnie Hart: We've all come from fat, Ayush, haven't we! smile
What a lovely photo! To be honest, I'm not really good when it comes to riding a bike. I can't even do a proper swing. I had to dismount from the bicycle and turned it to the direction where I want to go and mount on it again smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA, Charles. I guess it's an acquired taste?? grin
Oh...I love old bikes! Great capture!
