You found a real sense of the sacred here...
Ginnie Hart: It did feel like that, Larry. Thank you.
it's only one more month tomorrow Ginnie... love the back lighting in this shot....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It's time TODAY, Peter, to let the month go. We've got the entire day to say Good-Bye! smile

I love this point of view and seeing the shadow on the ground. The misty light in the back, up the stairs, adds to this wonderful picture. July almost gone, it almost looks like time is racing these days........
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. That church was simply amazing, wasn't it!

Lovely golden tones Ginnie. You caught this wonderfully with the light.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. It was such a memorable place.

A very pleasing image in what looks to be an atmospheric place Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Indeed so, Chris. Thank you.

How the placing of that figure adds to the composition, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I had one image without anyone, Lisl, but did opt for this instead, so thanks for your vote of confidence.
This is a very fine picture Ginnie. The figure really adds to it being perfectly placed
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bill. As I told Lisl, I had another image with no one in it but opted for this one.

On the downward run to the end of the year now; so much to do - so little time... Nah, all ehat can wait. Let's enjoy the "for now".
Ginnie Hart: All we have is NOW, Alan, you're right, but NOW seems to be changing very quickly all the time! We are definitely in the last part of the year once we get to August...and then September!

The profile of that person reminds me a little of Tracy. What a clean looking place, should keep the polisher busy.
Ginnie Hart: I see your reference to Tracy, Louis, though that thought never came to mind. And yes, I'm sure the janitor is kept very busy there. smile
Now there's a place I would liek to visit. It's my best friends birthday today, also 73, we were in the same Maternity Home together from the day of his birth and have 'sort of' known each other all that time so he's one number up on you as well smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! And to think after all this time you are still best friends, Brian, blows my mind!
Interesting atmosphere of smoke from incense maybe.
Ginnie Hart: I think that's the afternoon rays of the sun shining through the windows, Mary! No incense was burning that day while we were there.
This photo speaks a lot of the history of this place... Nice capture Ginnie... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Sudipto. It makes me understand why it was chosen to be a basilica!
They do fly by, don't they?
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they do, Tom!
Very goog light shot! good photo Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Roland.

I love how the sun reflects inside the building -- it seems everyone is enjoying the summer season!

Time flies...august tomorrow...and soon enough the winter!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Emily. This was way back at the end of April but it could have been any time, really. And yes, it's flying.
I know! How scary it's already August??!

Time to prepare my Christmas to-buy list.
Ginnie Hart: I have a friend on FB who's already reminding us of how many more weekends there are before Christmas!
The light is wonderful smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry. It thrilled me to no end.
Lovely shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Frank.
i love the incense smoky atmosphere, Ginnie. the quiet place is good for some solitude and reflection at the start of the week.
Ginnie Hart: Or rays of sun shining through the windows, Ayush! Whichever, it does seem like a good way to start the week and month. Thank you.
Time to welcome another month that is full of promise.

That is a lovely shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. I like the "full of promise" part.

Wonderful 3D effect!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Bonnie.
Very nice Ginnie! There's a sense of tranquility in this photo smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Charles. It had that feeling for me, too.
This is really lovely - the light is wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. There was such a good feeling in that place.
I'm sure many have said this...but love the shadow and the intrigue at the top of the steps!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. It was one thing to go down into the crypt, but to turn around and go out...that took my breath away.
