These are the opportunities to grab and it makes a wonderful picture. This was such a photogenic little harbour. Great selective colouring.
Ginnie Hart: Even on a rainy day, Astrid, it held so much beauty for us. Thank you.

i really like the way you do this 'erasing' selective colour... i might try it some day when i get a new computer... lovely shot btw!
Ginnie Hart: Let me warn you, Elaine, that it can be addicting. smile Thank you.

You are a master in selective colouring and in taking misty images. I love the atmosphere on that rainy day!
Ginnie Hart: You're kind, dear Philine. Thank you. As you know by now, a little bit of rain/mist has never stopped me!
J'aime vraiment beaucoup cette association de couleurs ..
Très bellle photo
Merci
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Claudine.

The coloured fenders leap out from the muddy scene all around. Its 51 years since I've been to Looe; I was on a bike and there are big hills there.
Ginnie Hart: I think it was those fenders that made me do it, Alan. grin
This is just fine and dandy Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: "Fine and dandy" works for me, Bill. smile Thank you.

Two of the things you enjoy, Ginnie - fishing boats and selective colouring - but they weren't beached!
Ginnie Hart: HA! You are indeed right, Lisl, on all 3 accounts. It so happens that here on the River Looe, closer to sea, the boats were still nicely afloat. But farther inland, they were verily beached. smile
Keep on doing it Ginnie, a great shot enhanced by the colour pop.
Ginnie Hart: You know how to make me feel good, Brian. smile. Thanks.
i think the misty atmosphere lends itself suitably to this selective colouration, Ginnie. love this shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.
I like when you do this, Ginnie. This is stunning!
Ginnie Hart: You've made my day, Mary. Thank you.

Beautiful post process Ginnie. I love this composition
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie!
I love the way you have done this smile
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Cherry. Thank you.
Someone is following you and painting the landscape black and white...
Ginnie Hart: HA! It actually sounds like a good movie, Larry. smile
And I like it when you do! This is lovely!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks for your vote of confidence, Elizabeth. smile
Ha ha... But your selective colouring is always so predictable, especially on Boat Friday.

Choose something else that might surprise me next time. wink
Ginnie Hart: Is it predictable because I did it last Friday as well, LC???? I know you don't have long-term memory loss, so try to remember all the times it WASN'T a boat. HA! But maybe I'll surprise you again!
You do this so well!
Ginnie Hart: So kind of you, Robin. Thank you.
That is beautifully done.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael!

Jolie scène.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Anne.
I like you treatment on this one Ginnie... smile

When it comes to selective coloring, I always get confused on what to keep colored and what not to... smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! The fun part is "erasing" the B&W bits where you want the color to show through, Sudipto. smile

Great picture. I just realised with the total absence of modern indicators, this one is also ripe for a "back-in-time" conversion.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure you're right, Louis.
I love this beautiful treatment and another wonderful composition Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Charles.
